I switched from an iPhone 16 Pro to the pixel 9 Pro, it was tricky to get used to Android. However, I can't complain at all about the quality of the cameras. Also, photos are much better on the pixel and that is a reality. With the recent update, I noticed that the Bluetooth connectivity is much better as well as the speed of the Wi-Fi

Hi, how are you now coping 3 weeks in? Reason being, I started off with Android (Samsung's nots phone) then I moved over to iPhone when my carrier offered me a deal which was amazing, I just couldn't say no. I'm thinking of moving back to Android 10 years later. If I were too, then Pixel is the only Android phone I would move to. I like iMessage and signal even though everyone else prefers Whatsapp. My iPhone works for what I need it for but I still have that Android in me. I'm using a 2nd phone, Android when I'm home.

@@RBASB10 hi, really well. No issues at all and the camera is outstanding. I pay for the Google cloud and other Google services so it makes more sense to me to have an Android phone, all in one place. Also I like to try new headphones and with the iPhone it was a pain in the bum to do that. Nevertheless, I have a MacBook Pro and I was tired of being tied to the Apple system. It's great to try new software and Google assistant and Gemini work great.

I've seen so many reviews of AI features saying the same thing "X feature isn't for me, but i am sure there are people who would find it useful" - and that's absolutely right, except MOST people will likely never use them - appreciate that you mentioned how often you used a certain feature in the months of using the phone. Lots of these features are amusing - i found myself testing AI like tell me what's on this picture. I absolutely do not need it, i can see what's on the picture. I personally use a lot of generative AI for work on my work laptop, but I never use it for my daily life, especially on a phone. There just isn't a use case to do something that important and detailed on the go. Mostly, its simple tasks like play this song while I am driving or set a timer.

THANK YOU for including the front-facing nighttime video at 13:38! For future videos, could you also test proper nighttime front-facing footage in scenarios without direct light or on much darker streets? It’s a realistic use case, and it really highlights the differences between phones. 🔴Spoiler alert: Pixels struggle a lot in these conditions compared to other devices. The noise is so bad you can’t tell if it’s pouring rain or just an overwhelming amount of grain. It’s disappointing that Google continues to neglect this, and even more frustrating that 99% of reviewers don’t address it. This leaves buyers unpleasantly surprised when they realize they can’t use the phone for simple tasks like quick social media videos or family chats in low light.

One thing that keeps me on iPhone is the way Apple optimizes their screens. Using True Tone and other settings really make the screen crisp and sharp. You doubt me? Put the iPhone next to pixel and start using them. You'll see a huge difference in screen tech. If you don't have both, goto a store and compare them. The iPhone's screen is very pleasant to look at. Not that the Pixel has a bad screen, but Apple does something very special with theirs. Now, Google is the software king!!

Thank you! As for the creators in my shop, not sure what you mean? The back of my space is a production space that I use that is also for rent to anyone that wants to rent it. It's not really creators, it's usually a lot of production companies to be honest. I do though have creator friends that come in and hang out, but they're people you already know 🤷‍♂️

Google is doing a great job integrating the pill-shape design in their apps too. The Google search bar is pill-shaped. The YT search bar is pill-shaped. Even FB on Pixel phones has similar design choices in comparison to Apple devices for example.

how is it's color reproduction when you should video in lowe light? the phone that i have now has a very hard time reproducing some colors in this situation. like in the club when there are a lot of yellow or orange lights. it doesn't even come near how the real colors look

great video as always. #1 for me I liked the uniform design ... the sleekness of the camera bar over the pill. #2 gemini.... I like the idea of the walkie talkie, but I don't always have my phone on me. I am disabled, and stay home most of the time. So if I'm in the kitchen, and think of something... I'll just say heyyy Gee... what's... insert whatever I want to ask it. I'm still on the Pixel 7 Pro.... I have no idea when I'll upgrade to any of google's phones that actively have Gemini as the main assistant. I had the pixel 6 pro from launch in 2021 until it died on me in 2024.... So It is safe to say I'll have my 7 pro for another 2 years. I can't wait to see what google has in store in 2027! As I said at the top, great video David, keep up the excellent work!

To be frank, I've watched it in 4K but I don't like how hazy everything looks. Especially at 0:40 you can see the smudginess of the noise reduction kicking in. In low light situations all details are lost and it starts to have that typical painting effect @09:50 It seems all phones are currently stuck at mediocre quality these days. Sure, it's fine in broad daylight but it's not enough to justify upgrading, and you can absolutely tell it was shot on a phone because of the lack of clarity.

Google Pixel 9 Pro XL has a horrible "Camera system" When i switch from wide lens(0.5x) to Primary lens(1x) it makes horrible camera switch noise and it gets even worse from 0.5 x to 5x I don't recommend everyone not to buy Pixel 9 pro xl
