I've always preordered my Pixels, knowing that they're more likely to come with manufacturing flaws because they're among the earliest production units. I've always had a good experience with the phones, but all three pairs of earbuds (Pixel Buds, Pixel Buds Pro, and Pixel Buds Pro 2) had problems and had to be sent back. Each time the replacements worked well.
