I seriously love this phone more than anything I've had since the Note 8. I thought I'd miss Samsung but that lasted for like a day. When Google said they were adding the ultrasonic fingerprint reader, improved battery life and the 45mm Pixel Watch I instantly pre-ordered everything. Phone has been AMAZING we'll see how the watch is up against the Galaxy Watch next week

People complaining about the Pixel processor being slower than the Snapdragon 8Gen 3, grow up bruv. Mobile computing peaked 3 years ago. This processor even if as fast as the S gen 2 is already very well capable device. What do I need a faster processor for? Opening my KZbin .2 seconds faster? Id rather have a well optimized phone like this Pixel and always up to date OS than have a super fast processor which i would rarely use and have to wait 3 months before getting the latest update. Plus if you will say that the newest SGen3 is optimized for battery consumption. Flagship phones 4 years ago already lasts you a whole day. By the time you go home phones are at least 20-40% battery left. Unless you live in a very remote area where you need your phone to last 5 days cause you have no power grid, a whole day battery phone is already good. Plus if you really need that charge then get a powerbank.

I switched from S24 ultra for fun, and had plans to sell thr pixel 9 pro xl after a few weeks. However, s24 ultra is now being sold. Thr pixel 9 pro xl is increible. Forget the specs, the software optimization and Google animations are so good. I prefer the camera over s24, which has a green tint to every picture that drove me nuts. This phone is the truth!

@@roberth7621 I had the pixel 9 pro for 2 weeks. And honestly enjoyed it more than my s23 ultra. But I couldn’t get over the that it lagged sometimes playing some games and got really hot while using gps. Also the Bluetooth did not work with my car radio which was a huge problem for me. But it has the best camera of any phone that I’ve used including the 16 pro max I have now. It is smoother than any android phone I’ve used and faster than any iPhone. The AI is also great on it. The battery is good enough.

Thanks a lot for the replies🙏. It went well, and right now I'm here in a hospital bed with bandages and a svullen scull/face looking like a ballon 💥😳😁. Btw The surgery was a Nerve Vagus Stimulator put inside my chest, with wires up through my neck and throat and into my scull connected to the vagus nerve in my brain. Fortunately health care here in Norway is all free, payed by the government 👍.

Nice one Floss 👍🏻. I am to the Apple side for years but if I wanted to buy an Android now that would have been the Pixel 9 Pro XL. If it only was available on my region! Floss, one of the gripes about Pixel phones, for many people outside US, is the bad availability. On some countries are either not an available for purchase at all, while on others (like Greece or Cyprus) it’s ridiculous expensive and with limited Google functionality… it’s a shame for a giant like Google not to have its services and devices globally available. For the story, my iPhone works 100% here, like the US and UK or Canada…

Yayy! Watching this on my new XL that I got just a few hours ago. Been using Notes for more than a decade, with the Note 10 Plus the last five years, but the S24 Ultra... It just didn't feel right. There was something off about it. But the moment I picked up the XL... Man, it was love at first sight. No s-pen, no Snapdragon, no square screen, and I honestly don't care. Had pixel since the first one, after the 7 I jumped to the little s23 and I liked it a lot! When the P8 pro came out I ordered the pro XL and little things like the fingerprint sensor, then modem and something else made me reconsider my choice. Waited until the s24 line up came out and got me the s24 plus. I'm supper happy with it until I have to use the camera. It sucks really bad!! I can't rely on it for nothing, off colors, grainy pictures in low light, and some blurry. I placed an order on the p9 pro, the compact one since I'm not huge fan of the big phones. I'm still waiting on it.

Ive been eagerly awaiting this video becase i literally just switched off of Pixel phones back to OnePlus. So far im absolutely not looking back and loving the OP12 but i really want google to succeed and fix my massive gripes and maybe I'll consider going back. Tensor G3 just absolutely SUCKED for me. Charging was slow and hot, if i was doing anything the phone would get really warm and if it was a hot summer day it'd get so hot that it thermal throttled like crazy. I had glitches that would come and go even after factory resets. And the battery life was not great for me even though im a mostly background screen off youtube listener for most of my usage. This OP12 got me through my 8am to 8pm daily routine with no charging with 35% and it was fairly moderate-heavy usage. The snapdragon 8 gen 3 is incredible and ive actually been loving the cameras even though i was scared i was going to miss the pixel camera. Certain things are quirky but wow you can get some absolutely STUNNING photos out of this camera if you know a little about cameras and tweak settings. Auto mode is totally fine for social media. I wonder if Google's switch to TSMC will make tensor G4 a top tier SOC
