I was using Samsung flagships for a long time and know a lot of (ex) Samsung fans, but yt comment section made me realize why they can sell pretty much the same "we'll fix it with updates" half finished devices year after year 😂

To be fair, it's not the phone itself, KZbin on pixel has had this bug going from HDR videos to normal where it lags like crazy. Not an excuse obviously, but at least it's not lag caused by heat. You can see it scrolls normally after that
@AliYassinToma23 күн бұрын
@tommasomartini7011 not an excuse especially for the pixel.. literally made by the same company who made youtube 💀

But how is the temp? I think one of the reasons phones dim their brightness is because of heat to protect the phone.

The bending on screen looks like PWM dimming being as bad as on the Xperia 1 VI. Basically unusable for people that are sensible to this.

This phone would be a good buy at 600usd max.. And that's not where i live. That's if the competition is selling at msrp.. in a market where an s24 ultra is 800 new this should be 400 max
@VelianSpeaksTech24 күн бұрын
Makes sense and believe me in a few months that's gonna be the case.

@@VelianSpeaksTech probably. But considering past pixel devices never made it to the middle east i doubt this will be in the market any time soon

I've never had screen dimming on the S24 Ultra in 8 months, and I'm always on the lookout for that since it's a major pet peeve lol

Many users claim their favourite device does not dim and that iPhones do, but OEMs all use dimming to throttle temperature, and they would be wrong not to. My S24U dims.
@wheelyflac24 күн бұрын
My s24u also dims at about 38 to 39 celcius. ( battery temperature reading)

I have it also often. For example when leave the car after android auto it dimms down or when use cam a bit.

There is a way to disable samsung automatically dimming the display using the system ui tuner app. Would be nice if you could make a video about it because it would help a lot of people
