Honestly, I feel like the zoom cycle is getting worse after every update. It used to be way better at launch. Even my iPhone 12 pro has better transition when switching lenses. Smh.

@@antonyvengooran7966 I've been using Samsung flagships for 7 years straight (ending with S23U) and one of the things I learned (and I can guarantee) is that things actually don't get better with software updates. It's just placebo. As soon as next model is near, or presented, performance of last years one (not to talk about older) becomes worse. Not that you'll notice lag and stutter right away but slowly and gradually there are more and more camera and battery problems, sudden shutdowns of apps, connectivity issues, whole device becomes less responsive etc. When you compare it to new model, you'll think "wow, this one feels much better, let's upgrade". And that cycle repeats itself every single year, can't find much about it on "honest" youtube though but forums are full of same stories.

It is the same on any mobile device with small sensors. Even on Chinese flagship devices with One inch sensors this is a fruitless task. A pro camera is needed to do this flawlessly with zero noise. And a very good one at that.

@@neilmcguinness4422 it's not, I've been using Iphone after 7 years of Samsung only and the difference between indoor and outdoor is minimal. I mean it can be noticed, but indoor pics, even with moving subjects, are totally usable

Don't tell me they can't give some level of denoise and better post processing at low light situations such as pixels and iPhones do with same level of hardware that is not the best of all.. Also don't tell me that they can't give a simple button somewhere in the camera ui for fast shutter capture of moving objects like kids or pets to get a decent photo and not a blurry mess. Instead of me going at pro photo and setting shutter speeds and ISO's to just photo my 1 year old kid that can't stay still like an adult for a photo... I'm not a pro photographer neither I want to become one.. I just want a bloody decent photo from a 1k plus device, not even the best one....

I definitely mentioned it became worth. Once you zoom in, everything is over processed. Grass, buildings at 10x are become to the mass, blurry, and not even close to be sharp. I still have v6.1 in Canada

i just wish they improved the disgusting oversharpening. I have a s23u, when i shot at 200mp it just turns out a mess with 0 "real" detail. I use the medium soft from camera assistant in the regular mode, but it looks like a blur filter. Its stressing

From the main camera app, go to settings, find "Intelligent optimization" and switch to "Medium". This particular setting removes the oversharpening.

People go crazy over the cameras of this phone i mean what do u expect? It's better than iPhone and equal to pixel, u expect to beat Chinese brands while they try to satisfy people worldwide? That's impossible. if u don't care about tons software features that Samsung is trying to maintain stable while having good enough hardware then go for Chinese brands. But u are probably here complaining in comments because one ui is too comfortable to leave. Well u can't have it all. There's no perfection in our world.

@@eduard6450 yes they try to satisfy everyone by making everything good but not perfect becauseit would be too expensive its already 100€ more than the 16pm. So they can't be the best at many things. U may ask now.. so Chinese brands like honor and vivo are better? No exactly..because they lack some features all together. But they are better at most of the things that they don't lack completely. So both are equally good and it's about preference but Samsung as a brand that sells worldwide wide has to be good at most things and not lack as many features as possible in order to satisfy as many users as possible.

@@wheelyflac Iphones practically never had shutter lag or at least motion blur like on Samsung phones. Take a picture of anything with even slight movement - you get blurry mess. Even if anything else was perfect (and it isn't), noone who takes pictures of people, kids, pets (majority of users) won't be satisfied with cameras on Samsung. Most of the "big" youtubers praising Samsung phones just continue using their Iphones. Why would they if Samsung had better UI and cameras ? And most of the photographers (I mean real photographers, having thousands of euros worth of equipment) I know, use Iphone as a backup. A few of them use old Xperias. Samsung has pretty much the worst cameras right now.

S10e makes slightly better photos in daylight than S24 Ultra. I have both phones and did lots of comparisons. Its video is also better. No jokes. S24 Ultra shines with night time photos, HDR processing of neon lights, and zoom photos, of course. The ultrawide camera of S10e is far superior than the ultrawide camera of S24 Ultra in daylight conditions.

3x still overexposing since s23 ultra, they have not done any major improves on the s24u , it is a great phone hardaware is way better than iphone even in cameras , daily task go very well but camara optimization is really bad, stay with the s23 ultra it's the best deal, you don't need the s24 or even rhe s25ultra, because it will be the same

My last good Samsung camera was s20 it had 12 gb or ram an expandable memory and 1440p not 1080 like my s23 . They downgraded so much I can no longer justify using a Samsung I am now on an iPhone 13 that takes better photos than my s23.
