This phone has gotten better and better since i have had it since day 1 with no issues and running the android 15 beta 2.1, hot darn your font is huge on your device.

your issue with the 'too squished' issue is that you have the display size/dpi way too high

That was for video purposes... in the video i had only 4 emails on screen but i said 6 emails normally

My favourite foldable ever (using previously Vivo Fold2, Samsung Fold5 and OnePlus Open)!

What makes you prefer the Google Pixel Fold over the OnePlus Open? Just curious.

@@Super-c00n it is very difficult to explain. Nearly none of the specs make Pixel Fold the winner (maybe except the camera), but the feeling of how good (GOOD) to use it on a daily basis is priceless. Maybe the aspect ratio, I don't know. Second best was the OnePlus Open, then the Vivo Fold2, and far the worst was the Samsung Fold5. Of course, this is my personal preference, please keep this mind!

I'd argue the Oppo Find N2 has just as functional cover display as the Pixel Fold. It's slightly smaller, but it has an 18:9 aspect ratio. So, the PF isn't the only foldable w/ this form factor. Plus, the Find N2 preceeded the PF by 6 months, has stylus support, & 67W wired charging!

As much google customer support can be a joke at times, it is infinitely better than Oppo, especially on a phone they did not even release in the US (which I live). I would have loved to use it, but considering the foldable nature of inner screen being fragile, I just could not risk it, so I went with google fold.

The fold screen crease is wider but not as deep as the Samsung crease so it's ok. The bezels are actually very useful in actual usage as it helps hold the unit without touching the screen. Running Android 15 is just on another level of refinement. The overall size open & closed is just the sweet spot that will remain unmatched by anything this year. Maybe next year manufacturers will finally come to their senses and stop going for random larger sizes, instead of refining the experience.

I rotate between Oppo Find N2 and Pixel Fold. I think the form factor is what has me coming back. The Oppo size is awesome if just had a full Global ROM

6:45 - regarding the content being squished, can you not blame your font size/scaling? for me, I have font standard sized, so I have no issue what so ever with things not fitting properly or being squished.

All pixels charge slow. My battery is really good on the fold. I use a case so I don't really notice the heat. I had a z fold 5, and I prefer the pixel fold so much more.

i never said much about the charging speed lol, so because you can't feel the heat it makes it ok lol... some people are awesome

Your comment about it being a sound investment hasn't worked out. You were estimating that a trade in against the next PIxel Fold (Pixel 9 Fold) would be £750, but Google are only offering £431 as a trade in value for the origional Fold. It's only a sound investment if you intend to use it for a year or 2 really. If you buy one for let's say £600, you might get most of that money back 6 months to a year later though. Certainly better than paying £1,749 for a new Pixel Fold 9. That will tank in value in a similar way to the original fold in a year's time.

Spot on "Take 2." I was using a Galaxy Z Fold 5 and then went to a Pixel Fold for a couple of months. I love Pixels, but the negative points you mentioned made me switch back to my Z Fold 5. Z Fold 5 feels more premium than the Pixel Fold.

Yeah, that sucker gets hot when charging. So much so that I put it on a glass surface when charging.

I love Pixel Fold had a year also app are now fully aspect 2 app pairing and Google only calling and messaging is b beyond everything else. The new AI features are the best pictures. Running Android 15 beta is killer beyond all foldables here in the USA. Mine get hot touch I get a day and a half but your not running the latest software they been changed the battery life.

I hated the software. I found it weirdly restricting like pop up windows- I use that all the time. I've gone back to the fold 5 simply for software. I did love the build of the pixel though

People rag on Samsung UI but they genuinely put a lot of thought into how you can use android on larger screens. They have done a great job IMO.

I left the fold 5 and went pixel fold for the same reason Samsung's software is not good at all for me pixel is the best android phone and does it properly the way all other should do

It is fantasy to think Samsung software in same league as Pixel Fold using Android 15 already. The AI features it had even with Android 14 was superior.
