Duckduckgo is as good as Google and it doesn't track your data. Vimeo and other video streaming services are available. But, that charge for content above a certain level. Which means they don't mine for data.

Interesting topic. There should be more exploration and open discussion in US college admissions criteria. Need more facts and data before able to make a position or take sides on this one. Especially from the us private schools and Ivy League. Very little news coverage on that topic I think.

If you're fiscally conservative as well as being socially liberal, why is that "the middle"? Only because of the mistaken belief that politics are between left and right. What would you think of a compass that was instead of circular, a rectangle with only East and West marked on it and no room for the needle to veer North or West? The political narrative needs to pronounce left and right perceived choice, a redundancy. And the subsequent choices of political parties needs to reflect that.

Couple of my own phrases and words about organization’ visions, strategies and Leadership: The executives, the directors, the chiefs and the bosses will have to bind themselves to organization’s financial result and its action and be responsible for organization’ success and competition ability. Leaders have to make absolutely clear to employees, why they are working. Binding happens best with basic salary + result bonuses, by creating good working atmosphere, which by the way is very important to organization’s success and by pointing out of importance of working! Nowadays, almost nobody keeps only the salary the most important reason to work, although in many cases it’s very important reason to work.

I used to work for Oracle, and this video was the most I've ever heard from Larry. Larry, and by extension Oracle are held in bad esteem in the Bay Area because he doesn't give money to the organizations the activists think he should.

Great man, but I think he doesn't realize the nuance of software developers having different reactions to "help me write a targeting system for a missile" and "help me write a censored search algorithm".
