Great tutorial. What I like best is that you quickly show the steps without lingering or saying the same thing 10 different ways. If we don't understand something or it's too quick we can always stop and go back. Unfortunately other videos may mean well but are soooo slow to explain or get to the point. Thanks again

Great but it would be greater if you extend it more to add these following task: 1- add one field so the script can write a value in after sending each email so I can know who I sent email to and didn’t. 2- how to write values in email body in an alternating colored rows in a table. 3- make an option to trigger the script after each submission if I use it with google forms. I’m sure most ppl need these complete in one script instead of using multi scripts. Thank you for your appreciated efforts.

Your videos have helped greatly. Keep up the good work. I do have a need to make something like this non-container bound as other processes need to utilize mail merge. My company has blacklisted all mail merge add-ons and need to find a way to make this readily available without duplicating code in spreadsheets.

I was trying to make the video work for the 2nd (I am slow to learn) and found that error message -there is no 'row' function. I just got stuck there. Probably I'll try again tomorrow. I am sure it is my fault.

is there an easy way to populate the cell value to confirm an email has been sent for the rows you have checked. So, if you want to send the email to a couple of people first, then when you return to send it to the others you will see that some people have already been sent the email?

is there an updated version of this? I think it's under "appscripts" now in google sheets and there's no long a view logs or file menu or anything. It looks very different and unfortunately doesn't seem to work anymore.

Logs are now under Executions on the left menu and script is under Extensions->Apps Script. I don't think the code is any different though, should work the same.

Hello, I have been having problems figuring out the following. My objective is when the email has been sent it in the last column written "True", so I will use a trigger activate for every change in the sheet, so the lines with true will be out of the filter to send the mails. This a great tutorial video!!! I was able to get the functionally working on the first try!!! Now, I am trying to enhance it a little further, by adding the ability to email to a Group of Emails from the Label option withing Google Contacts, any tips or suggestions on how this can be done? I am still digging and doing some googling, I can't be the first person to want to have the ability to enter an email address OR to multiple emails set up with the same label in Google Contacts.
