Great info! Question: Would you say that this Airtable setup is also better to use (more robust)than using the CRM feature in Active Campaign?

GREAT question! Absolutely. We use ActiveCampaign in conjunction with Airtable. We use it to send emails but use Airtable as our CRM database. So for example, when a client's status is "Graduated" in Airtable, it will update the ActiveCampaign Tags so they get the proper emails moving forward.
