Drawing in 3D is very different to 2D drawing. For example, you don't have to worry about perspective and so on.

not really everytime i play i fill up my room with drawings and near more space.. the vive's max play area is i think 3 meters by 2.5 meters so it's kinda small.. i had to buy 2 tripods since my room is large XD I hope they make like new base stations or something with larger maximum play area

Man this stuff makes me so excited. Virtual reality is finally the big innovation in the way we use technology. For quite a while now we have been dealing with 2D devices only. Sure the devices get better, bigger and smarter but this is really a leap forward into (literally) another dimension. As an engineer I would love to work on such a technology. It's truly a great time to be alive.

You have no idea what you're talking about. Our tax rates are not affected because Google, or anyone for that matter, doesn't pay tax. You pay the same rate regardless. If you want to talk about tax dollar miss-allocation, then look at the bloated defense budget and subsidy grants paid to Big Oil and Big Pharma. That has a much great impact on taxes than Google not paying income tax. The 500 largest companies combined would be on the hook for 680 billion. Spread out over who knows how long, probably decades. If it was all paid tomorrow, it wouldn't cover how much America has paid in subsidies over the same time period.

I'm sure a lot of people will complain about sore arms (even before this came out, people criticized it for that,), but you just gotta push through it. Even new artists on paper sometimes get sore wrists, but they eventually get strong enough to be able to draw for hours. Same goes here, your arms will eventually become strong enough to be able to 3D paint for hours on end.

@@dneail i built a good pc a year before i got the vive so i didnt see a reason not to. skyrim ended up being my favorite vr game anyways so i think the vive was overall the better choice
