Not true. Google Analytics 4 is meant for generating complex reports based on data gathered from websites. Not just for viewing hits on a website. If you just want hits, you're using the wrong tool so try something else like Simple Analytics.

Google Analytics is targeted towards analysts and businesspeople that require specialized data. If you want something more easier to use, go find a better solution yourself.

Hi, Unable to change the date for the reports that are under Library. It only shows last 30 days. We created the reports under the GA 4 Library folder, however, I can't see the option to change the dates. Currently it's only showing Custom Jun 1 - 30 and the data field is disabled.

Why when we search for a page or group of pages (in the Pages and Screens chart for example) doesn't the chart update to show the pages in the search results? It seems strange that the chart keeps showing the top pages when clearly we want to see the pages we searched on charted?

Does anyone see where to see where each page traffic comes from? I used to be able to (in UA) click on a page and see if the traffic came from google or pin etc. I can’t see where you can connect the dots between which pages get traffic from which source. I can only see total for a landing page and total from a source.

Did anyone at Google Analytics ask users how they use Analytics before making this tutorials? This isn't help - it is an overview to sell us on this product. All we want to know is how many hits a specific page has gotten over a period of time. Why is this so difficult to understand? We need a presentation for THAT.

Reports -> Life Cycle -> Engagement -> Pages and Screens, then filter the date at the top. Views is the first column.

What is the difference between user acquisition and traffic acquisition and how both calculates data?

User acquisition report will show you the sources from where New Users entered on the website for the first time and whereas Traffic acquisition report will show the Total number of users entered on website from each source in a certain period of time.

In UA for paid traffic I can pass info through the param and it shows up in the 'keywords' section of the realtime overview. How can I see that in GA4? It is by far the most useful aspect of GA for me

WHY DO YOU KEEP CHANGING THINGS???!! For instance, there is no way to select the timeframe once I click on 'Pages and screens' report. The left menu goes and so does the timeframe selector. This whole thing is a joke. The Configure button from the original GA4 is now gone too, so many tutorials from 6 months ago are out of date. I also don't see the table below my graph in the default 'Pages and screens' report.

Hi, I have the same issue as @oceantradegroup4026, over the course of 24hrs all of my properties have stopped reporting traffic data although real-time and debug view are working, UA properties are still tracking if they have them. Just GA4 has stopped. This has happened across all properties, regardless of who set them up, we haven't done any changes to the properties or GTM. Seems to be a GA4 thing???

GA4 reporting is terrible for Marketing Agencies as there is no function to replicate a created report to apply to all clients. UA had the ability to create a dashboard that could be loaded to all new clients. This reporting solution needs to be fixed as it only applies to one account, then you have to completely customize reports for every single client manually. Bad move on Google.
