Would love to see a demonstration on how a cloud function trigger a data pipeline in Vertex AI. My goal is to build a cloud function on GCP Cloud Function for Azure or AWS customers. The call would be an event that would trigger the deployment of a data pipeline job in Vertex AI.

Can you make an example of how to serve something like a Hugging-face Transformer model in PyTorch ie custom processing and docker for serving. Also can you break down the cost implications. Is this serverless or do we pay for the whole time the endpoint is up?

Is vertex ai endpoint essentially restful api? In aws world, there are differences between model endpoint and api(the latter requires api gateway). In aws, model endpoint is internally used and not exposed to the public.

Endpoints are VMs. They are internal to your project by default, everything on GCP is. You can expose them if you need.

The tutorial does not work. I follow every step and the code freeze at the prediction step. Can you update all your tutorial ? Every time i have to fix something to making it work. It is laborious
