If life seems long or life seems short it’s all relative, sometimes it’s hard and sometimes it’s easy. To me the biggest component of happiness is gratitude. Having a positive attitude and looking at life‘s disappointments as lessons not punishments. Also to feel there’s a benevolent force in the world that’s good, some of us call that God. To be in tune with that and to be kind to your fellow man and all creatures of the earth puts you in a peaceful flow and to me that’s the ultimate happiness.

Life is long and hard, but through struggle you find your happiness. Only when overcoming challenges you can be truly satisfied. To have a dream is to have the will to live. So Dream and win a much as you can.

I disagree that is your opinion and I'm glad that's how you think about it, I was at my happiest before Oct. 24, 2009 when at almost 39 had a debilitating stroke w/ 2 boys age 8 and 11, it's been a struggle to get through each day, just pray for me!!

@@TheGdawg1999 You are looking at it all wrong. You are living in the past. You are alive now. If you didn't have your stroke, you would have had a different life... Maybe a better one or maybe much worst. Don't think of what could have been. Think of what is and plan ahead.

The stat in Singapore, whereby they effectively eliminate the addict, does generally solve much crime & theft, & all, yet somehow seems utterly appalling as a law. Clean & sober people are some of the kindest, & most generous & helpful people that i know. Would more were like them.

This is interesting, I feel it’s important to remember that people in these happy zones may do things a certain way, but this doesn’t mean everything they do is what is causing their happiness, I feel laws like killing someone with opioids who may be an addict is not what causes people there to be happy so I feel we should be cautious to think that we should simply copy everything in the culture if we want to be happy, This does not treat the underlying issue, it buries it(referring to the opioid law) it simply causes fear that may be what’s leading to abstinence but I do not think that is what causes their happiness. suppression when someone already has a wound that leads them to desire something like the escape of drugs, will only lead to that wound manifesting in other ways..Obviously here in the west were not doing much better, we’re still criminalizing this addiction which is built on a foundation of psychological illness and trauma, you cannot fix a broken bone by putting it in a cast forever and never going through the process of physical therapy to get it back to a healthy state You lock someone away who is broken inside with the permanent cast of prison time and a criminal record, how can you ever expect them to be rehabilitated to function in society. I’m sure my metaphors have holes in them But I am sure people will understand what I’m trying to convey These are just my ideas from my own personal experiences and knowing people who have struggled with addiction and as a product ended up with a criminal record which in turn made it almost impossible to break free and reintegrate as a functioning member of society. We are all broken people in one way or another bit if we are kept in casts forever(either because we were put in one or we put ourselves in one) we will never go through the full healing process and regain our full potential.

- Magnesium Deficiency Sets the Stage for Plaque in the Arteries -- A new animal study shows that "low levels" of magnesium promotes plaque formation in the arteries. During the study period magnesium deficient animals developed significantly more plaque in their aortas. The researchers fed rabbits a diet known to produce atherosclerotic plaque. The thickness of artery walls increased 42% in magnesium lacking animals. LDL cholesterol was highest in the magnesium lacking rabbits and lowest in the magnesium supplemented rabbits. This study adds further science to the idea that a diet lacking in magnesium sets the stage for heart disease. Taking mineral "Magnesium" its good for cortisol and stress.People who are magnesium deficiency have the highest heart disease , heart attacks and Irregular Heartbeat ,(arterial plaque ). Diabetics have magnesium deficiency , elevated blood glucose levels increase the loss of magnesium in the urine, which in turn lowers blood levels of magnesium.” So getting enough magnesium is especially important in diabetes and people who are border line diabetic or over weight . "Magnesium" has been shown to effectively prevent vascular calcification associated with chronic kidney disease. In the animal study researchers tested the effect of magnesium supplements on calcification of arteries. They found that magnesium relieved the degree of calcification with higher doses, offering better protection. -

I picked short and hard. I dont think you know what happiness means Dan. Happiness is a euphoric feeling that starts in your core and spreads to the rest of your body like a deep tingling that wont seem to go away. It's when you smile involuntarily, not because people are looking or you're supposed to - that feeling is the opposite of happy. I dont see you smiling at all here.. Happiness is a puppy jumping into your arms. Misery is the day he dies and you wish you were leaving instead. If you've ever truly been happy, you have also suffered crippling misery the day the world takes it away from you. Happiness is a deep emotion, and the rarest. Your clinical, logical look at the world disables you from understanding happiness. If you have ever been truly happy, you would not want to leave that state. You would do ANYTHING to stay that way..like the feeling you get at the thought that someone would hurt your child - that reminder that your body is designed to kill. THAT is love. NOT I "love" this coffee. Love is more like "I'll kill you if you hurt my daughter."

Spanish and Italians have been two of the longest living countries in the world for many years. Our diet is FAR from plant-based. Australians, big fans of bbq's are in the top 10 this same year. Why veganism is still a trend despite scientific knowledge of all the issues derived from a diet not suited for omnivore species (such as humans) and why it messes up statistics is beyond my comprehension.
