@@freyavikinggoddess It's (most likely) just KZbin's dumb algorithm that does that and it probably goes into a temporary bin before it returns out in the open. this is often a personal tag attached to your account that lasts for anywhere from a week to 4 weeks. I've been struck with this many times and it's annoying, eventually you'll learn the trigger words. It's a cross-channel shadow ban, but some channels do not have the tickbox enabled/disabled that temporarily "protects" the audience. You can see whether your message is withheld by using the "sort by" feature about 2 minutes after you posted it. It will be gone while new ones pour in. This is an automated system, everywhere, keep that in mind that there is no human committing the removal. Some channels do just purge the auto-withheld posts instead of reading through the bulk. This is yet again KZbin's decision to make it hard for channel owners to purge bots.

I believe she had some sort of illness (maybe epilepsy) that it was necessary to monitor her, in case said illness acted up. Santa Claus guy may have ruined it for her (and her parents) with his dumb prank. Though, I agree that there needs to be further safety when it comes to home security cameras. :/

It’s not an issue of safety- it’s the fact that they didn’t follow simple safety protocols given their devices were connected to the internet- they didn’t follow any sort of protocols to restrict access to said device by changing login credentials or restrict the relay… it’s entirely consumer error and ignorance. At this point it’s like saying “I didn’t know smoking was going to give me lung cancer” -> “I didn’t know my unencrypted, wifi-enabled security system could be accessed remotely by third party people” If people know not to use public Wi-Fi and input sensitive data then they should know that default camera settings on Wi-Fi enabled devices can also let in absolutely random people in.

I saw something about this in a case report before now, I read an awful lot of reports that get filed. He is on a list alongside a massive number of people globally as a potential predator. He told the girl she can do whatever she wants. He is believed to be the same guy responsible for hacking multiple families bedroom cams during the pandemic. There are some weirdos out there that's for sure.

As for the camera in the kid's room, that particular kid had epileptic seizures so the parents installed a camera so they could keep a better eye on her. For as important as tools can be for our safety, we still have to figure out how to use them safely.

Fun fact: the movie Disney pixar cars came out in June 9th 2006 but the game that released on ps2 and gamecube came out 3 days before hand( June 6th) which means that based on the rules for a character to enter super smash bros which was stated during the time of smash 4, lightning mcqeen is eligible to enter super smash bros as a playable character. The reason being is that on the website to enter fan suggestions for possible characters to add into smash 4 as dlc the character had to be an original video game character or be from a video game first which means that lightning mcqeen is eligible to be in smash bros.

iirc on insecam you cannot view ring cameras and usually youll just find cameras in businesses or peoples 3d printers (theyve made it so that cameras that in personal spaces are not shown and you can ask them take down a camera), ive had quite a lot of fun just looking a things like car washes or farms, dog daycares etc
