This. This is that one song. The one song that came on, gave me that little spark of hope. This is the song that saved my life. Dragged me to the surface of my depression. Yeah. That's pretty sad. People seem to be aware Vocaloid producers more since songs are often times made by one indvidual, and the fact Miku is a fictional character. Singers are people in every other genre, so it's easier to attribute work to a real person instead.

actually, you guys seems to get the song but the truth is you are all wrong. This was ryo's last song, he told about how poor his life was until Miku shows up. Suddenly ryo became a famous person, he just shuts down Miku. They have all these memories ( I think Miku is just a vitrual singer, but to ryo, she is his friend) according to the release dates of ryo songs. ODDS&ENDS comes in very late( since his last song release 3 years before this song) at the end of the song when Miku wakes up and she holds the music sheet, that was ryo turning her on again since 3 years ago and the sheet was ODDS&ENDS, saving ryo's final song about everything they have came through. I heard someone said Miku's voice sucks in this song but I am saying to you: this is Miku and ryo so it cannot be replaced by another Vocaloid, ecspecially an Utauloid( talking about Teto)

I mean, this song is supposed to be about Ryo’s feelings towards vocaloid. How he was going through a tough time, and then he found Miku and vocaloids. How his game skyrocketed, before going too far. He was bullied, talked about behind his back and mocked for “hiding behind a digital voice”. The line about her voice being hated by people is probably a reference to how in the early Miku ages, her voice sounded terrible, and people avoided her because of it, yet Ryo was able to gain popularity using her voice, encouraging others to do the same.
“Enough with this mechanical voice!” “I’m my own person!” That’s right, thank you Ryo, for saving lives with your songs.
@ngjunhaoalanng21204 жыл бұрын
@@ellal3554 Its not saving lives in a figurative way. In the vocaloid way of saving lives,it means to cheer up and relieve any form of sadness that is happening to the listener. For instance,if someone goes into a state of depression or sadness,sometimes a simple song is just what is needed to relieve that person from his or her grief and any negative emotions. In a way,it does save lives as it helps to prevent someone from going too deep into depression.

I see it as this: ODDS&ENDS represents the creative process and fame that is attributed to being a vocaloid producer. Sand Planet represents the current state of vocaloid compared to the initial boom that started with Melt back in 2007 up until a certain point like say 2015 or something.
@TheDustyForest2 жыл бұрын
Yeah tbh I agree with Kurage-P’s stance on Sand Planet, it’s a good song, great MV and interesting message but it feels very conceited, he came back after ignoring the scene for years and basically declared it a wasteland and acted like he was the hero bringing back life to the scene, completely ignoring all the new producers that had risen to carry the scene forward for the last 5 years. ODDS&ENDS and Greenlights Serenade are way more true to what Vocaloid music is all about imo.

I want to repay my parents for all they did for me, and it's things like these that make my feel like I'm truly capable of doing so. Ive heard this song so many times over the years. But this is actually the first time i sat down and looked for the lyrics to the song. Id never known what the song said until now and i think i can appreciate the song so much more. I never made vocaloid songs like ryo to express my feelings but ever since i was young i would sit in my room crying and being miserable. But whenever i would do that i would put on vocaloid songs and turn the volume all the way up on my cheap earbuds i got from the dollar store to drown out whatever was happening around me. It saved my life countless times. Being a preteen sitting on a crappy phone or a laptop and listening to these producers music about their feelings using miku made me realize i wasnt the only person who felt like this. Who was alone and had so much on my mind. I would sit up at night watching vocaloid music song after song looking up explanations and theories and crying at the song because it spoke to me and i felt like miku was nothing short of a savior. Her voice had shown me time and time again that other people out there felt the same things as me and they wanted to let it out too. Sorry for ranting this song just made me remember why i had always been so attached to vocaloid from the start and the ways it helped me from the darkest moments of my life.

This entire decade my vocaloid phase stuck to me, even if I said that’s enough. Even if the people who love me said it’s enough. I continued to listen. This song, wowaka’s masterpiece’s, mitchie m’s godsend of art, and many other producers helped me. But this song kept me going. It pushed me to save me from death. I attempted suicide in September, but when I stopped myself last minute, I played this song and realized there’s a lot more to life. ...this song. it means so much to me because of how much I can relate. when I first played project diva f for the first time I didn't know or understand the words in the song...then I watched a video showing the English subtitles and the romanji lyrics and I cried at the end...too many of my dreams in the past have died because I let what other people think of me determine what I did...and I watched a literal representation of what it looks like when a dream dies...but then she came back at the end of the video and I have never cried tears of happiness before until then...Miku-chan is an inspiration if you are willing to hear her voice and the message of encouragement and hope she gives

I just can’t not relate with the message of this song. Started out my life trying to put everything together when I finally ended up making a good image for myself. Out of nowhere, people I thought were my friends, who I thought loved me, ended up turning on me and leaving me all alone. Needed to start from scratch again but I didn’t know what to do! Just decided to do the same thing but with a different crowd. Thanks for letting me know I’m not alone in this.

VANK, a Korean private organization, is campaigning to deny Japanese culture. The organization is said to be a private organization, but in fact it is receiving financial assistance from the Korean government. Once they deleted a lot of videos of Hatsune Miku on KZbin. Their purpose is to spread the country's Vocaloid to the world. Even now they are trying to spread their culture to the world as if they confuse them with Japanese culture.

@sagaris05216 жыл бұрын
Totally relatable ;-;
@prof.counter28386 жыл бұрын
that doesn't make you weird at all, I feel the same and that is totally relatable for me, I listen to vocaloid songs(mostly Miku ones) and I just feel all of it, sadness, happiness, all of them. This song in particular touched my heart, because the lyrics are just like a mirror of myself, I do not have any friends in school, I sit at home all day after school, listening to vocaloid songs and playing video games with some friends I met online, it is beautiful. Although I have those friends online(I even met most of them already in person), I still feel lonely and I can't talk about everything because I want to hide it, I want to talk but can't really, I just don't know how to tell people how I feel. The only real dreams that I have with future friends are: Going to a karaoke bar and sing to Anime OPs and Vocaloid Songs and going to Tokyo or Japan in general for at least once and learning japanese because it is such a beautiful language where you can express your feelings like (in my opinion) in no other language. I still keep those dreams by myself and only little to no people know about these and I will chase them, no matter what comes at me.

the lyrics of this beautiful song is georgous and is ome of the most touching songs of all vocaloid songs. When ever you feel sad I bet you cry alone and hide it away from everyone but deep inside you have a painful thought in your head. I know because I've felt that way before... many times. On the ourside I look like your average girl, but deep deep deep in my heart I felt... like trash. I felt as I never belonged anywhere and had no purpose in this world. Until one fateful day, I found vocaloid, I fell in love it and eventually my soul felt... happy. So like and reply to this comment if you feel the same and share the same love for vocaloid as I do. Have an amazing day, everyone.

Its tell you not forget who brings you up here Who is with you when you are at the bottom anyone. and anything just like miku and vocaloid and the creators. they start from her. from bellow. low quality voice,bad lyrics, anything and then they make innovation together with Vocaloid. and when they already at the top. Their forgeet about vocaloid because "hey. how about using real singers instead of a program? its better you know" like that. and when they falling deep, they realize it someone or something that make them top. this song bassically tell me that. yeah. this song saving my life to when i m at the bottom of depression age back then. thanks miku. this song. and one that simple plan made, thanks. without you both, i dont know if i still living in this world and enjoy the colors of it
I remember listening to this song quite a while ago. Still makes me cry every time... I just feel like I can relate to this song so much: I am like the music producer who wants to pursue at something I am passionate about, Miku is like my family and friends who will always support me, and the harsh comments directed to him are like another part of my thoughts saying "I can't do it." Sometimes, that part of me takes over and I give up on what I want to do. My wish is to be able to chase after my dreams and passions with the support and encouragement of my family and friends and to be able to stand up to my fears and my doubts. If this is also how you feel, I hope you too, can achieve this :)

This song is what got me back into this stuff and saved my channel. I was starting to get bored of anime, and, like she says, "tired of the mechanical voice." I was in the middle of a long break from associating with the anime community, and I was seriously considering taking down all my posters and selling my merchandise. Then, I re-watched some anime videos, which had a strong possibility to be the last goodbye to anime. I stumbled across this, and I realized I had to stay. Even though they aren't real, I realized how much I had connected with the characters and how many amazing friends I had made because of my obsession. So thank you, Odds&Ends.
