Yep. The HRM kills blisteringly fast. Way faster than a shotgun and even a melee. Yet the sweats don't have a problem with that. What's more, shotguns are strictly limited to close range, whilst an SMG can perform at medium and extend to long range.

They need to buff shotguns on this game because now I feel like its at a point where it's becoming unplayable. People complain about shotguns but they have no problem getting 1 shot across the map with a sniper. I can use other guns but the shotguns have always been fun for me to use. Buff the range/damage or give us something so we can actually compete with sniper, AR, and SMGs. Everyone can stay back and just shoot so I think the burden is definitely on the shotguns to get close to people.

Shotguns should 100% bebanned for ranked modes. lol. Shotguns are stupid for ranked modes because theres no skill in gunplay for them and no oppprtunity to outplay someone in a gunfight. If youre close to someone, you just auto win the fight with no opportunity to fight back A sniper on the other hand has glint and AWFUL ads time so should you EVER see a sniper at any range, you can always have a CHANCE to outplay them. With shotguns, at certain ranges, the other person just dies. Its unfair. In a ranked skill vs skill scenario, shotguns do not belong and thats why theyve been banned from ranked or any competitive mode for YEARS. Shotguns should ve good in pubs, who cares, its pubs.....but not ranked modes.

I dont use shotguns myself, and yes it can be annoying to die to fire shottyes, but still… we need a diverse meta… people are pussies. They cry when they die. With all that crying we will end up with a boring shit game…. Y’all shotgun lovers. Try playing Insurgency Sandstorm, one of the few FPS which got the shotguns right. You can use them on par with any other guns like in real life. You can easily shoot target at 30m away if they don’t use any body armour (which doesn’t magically cover your head and toes). I’ve tried it to take a break from WZ and there’s no coming back to CoD for me.

Run and gun is my play style and how I enjoy the game. The kv buff was super wierd to me. One thing it does is make the super slow builds with it much more viable. Tbf, even the range barrel, which was lighter than the others, made your ads horrible and this will make up for that

Man, they've really screwed anyone who wants to use Shotguns or LMGs. LMGs are slow, weak, in-accurate and clumsy with the cracked out movement, garbage at CQC, and easily beaten by ARs/BRs/MRs/Sniper Rifles at any range that SMGs don't dominate. Then for shotguns to be even remotely effectively, you have to have the spam cannons with Dragon's Breath and barrel stuff at 4m or less, OR if you want to enjoy a pump action shotgun, you have to have top of the charts level of accuracy (more so than a damn sniper rifle) when moving at speeds, whilst mastering the cracked out movement of the best SMG players to even remotely compete.

The amount of work you have to go through to make shotguns perform awesomely greatly out weighs smgs by miles. I could understand if these things fragged out like crazy ad then were banned in competitive, but as of right now the only argument one could make is someone being camped up with one. But hen that same instance can happen with a meta smg as well. So I'm clueless as to why the shotty community just has to take this hate. I'm not asking for something like he heinous kv broadside at its release, I just want shotguns to be a viable alternative in close range and not have to get right beside you for it to be a threat. That's practically melee territory almost.

Shotguns kill in 2-3 shots. Like they've done since day 1 of warzone 2. Nerfs and buffs are bs. They just need to say they did something in an update. And saying a gun is buffed is the only way to get you goofy mfers to use different guns. I've gotten at least 1000 kills with every weapon in the game. And every gun in its respective category kills in almost identical ttks. Yall just need to least recoil build out there to compensate your lack of ability to control recoil.

Shotguns aren't great im the hands of players that don't know how to navigate a team with efficiency.. a player that can do that and hit 80% of those first shots very cleanly with a shotty.... thats why they nerf shotguns. I agree... get good. But thats why they cater the average smg player. Cuz the ceiling of what can be done with a 1 shot shotty is way higher than an smg. Thats why people cry about them. Cuz they suck too bad to use them correctly. IMO if your willing to risk using a pump shotty and missing that first shot and signing your death warrant against that smg.. you should be rewarded if you hit that shot.. but devs never see it that way. Cuz they know what we will do to those smg users over and over again.. and that.. will destroy smg skin sales ROFL
