I saw this teaser at a midnight show. All the movies got a huge pop from the audience. Then when it was revealed to be goonies, the entire theater groaned. I loved that. One of my favorite experiences at the Nuart Theater in LA.

WOW. I never thought I would see this again! First saw this in 1985 when I watched RETURN TO OZ at the cinema! I am actually tearing up watching this! Such beautiful childhood memories. To hell with what ponce-faced critics and naysayers say - Steven Spielberg is the Man!

God bless you man ! I've been waiting more than 35 years before seing this again. I remember seing a part of it on a late evening french TV show in 84/85 and never saw this again. I had a vivid memory of this bouncing "G" but always wondered where it came from. I knew it was Spielberg related, but that's all. You have completed a puzzle 35 years in making. Even drummers don't take that long to make one. Thank you.

I actually pondered buying it, though I had no idea how to view or transfer it. Anyway, thank you again for your effort! Ah, great! I saw this ONCE in theaters before the movie came out and never saw this trailer again. But it must have been a very effective teaser, I never forgot it, and in fact came here by actively searching for it. Thanks for uploading this... to bad the sound is so poor, but finally, after all those years, I could see this again.

I saw this in theaters when I was 12-13, and the excitement from that trailer remained throughout whichever feature followed. I’m sad to admit as a 13 y.o. I was disappointed in The Goonies (maybe I was a year or two too old) but I’ve dreamed about this trailer for decades. Thanks!

I’ve been wanting to see this again since 1984. I’ve looked for it online for years-as recently as a few months before you posted it. Thank you! I was so stoked to see this movie that a few months later I begged my mom to take me to see “Ghoulies.” Whoops! I wasn’t a half-hour in when I thought, “I’m not sure this is the right movie...”

Funny story and I have a similar one involving Ghoulies...I wanted to go see Goonies but didn't know it was already out of the theater so I was really bummed, didn't know if I would ever see it as back then video rental places were very new and didn't really know about them. A new video store opened nearby and my dad went to see if they had Goonies and came home with Ghoulies instead.

Henry Mancini’s “Who Is Killing The Great Chefs Of Europe” score. It’s a combination of two cues. The first part is on the soundtrack album in a track called “Fiery Finale”. The second part (the part that sounds like Otis’s theme from Superman) is in the film, but characters are talking over it. It remains unreleased as a clean track.
