Mold will grow underneath the carpet with all the padding and underlayment. The carpet, padding has to come out and be dried out very well. The sound deadening from the factory has to be completely dried because it absorbed the water as well. Possibly you may have to replace it, it will Also turn to mold.

experience made the difference on this build - don't forget to attend to the best gray mkt tuner parts for various builds - some are marginal admittedly but some can really work so worth thinking about for future rebuilds - more good products equals more good sponsors and affiliates - track everything and report back. do an end of year special on addons that make too much sense - value/aesthetics and performance. you should also have a reprise special on paint booth now that you are using it some more - all the maintenance, precautions, elec and mech hw plus the best tools and accessories that go into it....it ain't simple and could end up helping some people out and you may learn some things from the feedback. even the old man is learning some things - good to see him still involved - you should do a week's worth of work for him before xmas - whatever he wants
