Около моей бабушки живет мужчина - ветеран афганской войны. Бабушка рассказывала , что когда он вернулся он полгода не мог нормально спать , просыпаясь от каждого шороха. Я рад что не забыты ужасы войны , хоть и в WT это выглядит не так страшно

есть такое. У меня дед ветеран афгана, летал на ан-12, в ходе полета шахиды им в шасси попали, начали идти на аэродром, в итоге влетели в командный пункт. Дед умер 7 лет назад, подполковник, 64 года было. Про войну никогда не рассказывал.

They did leave billions of dollars of weapons that were used by the Afghan Army. The Afghan Army used more ballistic missiles the Civil War since the V2 Rocket attacks of WW2. And the Republic Of Afghanistan never fell until April of 1992 because Yeltsin cud funding in January 1992 and the US didnt cut their funding to t**ist groups. Most of Afghanistans massive arsenal was stolen by Pakistan over 1500 tanks gone

Not really accurate. The Persians, Parthians, Bactrians etc all controlled the area for a long time, with the area only really becoming known as the graveyard of Empires more recently with the British, Soviets and now Americans. And even then the British Empire also succeeded in its goal in creating a puppet state in the second Afgan war and won the thrid Afgan war which controlled the area for quite a while. My dad (Uzbek Afghan) Served in the Afghanistan Millitary in the Russian-Afghan war as a Tank Operator. He has many memories from that time. The fact that Afghanistan won that war and sent Russians Back home is Ironic. My mom talks about those times in Afghanistan. Cars and Tanks always used to Pass through Streets. Cars blasting Communist Propaganda. Katyusha, USSR Anthem Etc. My Mom's Father was a famously known Trader there and he had farm zones where he would grow All sorts of stuff and when Communist Oppression came they naturally took those zones and Shared them equally only in order to give them back to him. It was mostly fine back then but my mom tells that she used to hate that. My dad was more natural towards it still disliking them tho. Ive got pictures from those times in our Family picture box. Having such an family history is nice. Ironic part about me is. I love Russian Musics and Red Army. They are great. Pre 2000 Musics are just straight up wonderful musics. But the Russians Entering Afghanistan in 1979... Changed the Path of Afghanistan Forever. Now they are under Taliban Oppression. Women are not allowed to work or go to schools. Women activists are doing some Incredibly brave Stuff and standing up against Taliban by doing Parades and Speeches. Those women are some of the BRAVEST women i've ever seen in my ENTIRE life. And seeing pictures from the times when USSR didnt enter Afghanistan. It was nice. Really, REALLY nice. Thousand times better than what it is Now.

They are a Jihadist Armed Terror group that a lot of countries defines them as a Terror group. They aint good guys. They are bad people. Their original leaders fought against russia under the Islamic mujahideen Islamist rebel groups in the Soviet-Afghan war. But then stuff changed. Not too informed about their actual Roots. But uhm.
