Time to do the ultimate version of the "lots of islands" battle concept. This time we will have 4 rows of all 15 biomes, placing one kingdom from each race on each of the biomes!

Yes! Come on devs, water based biomes, coral reefs (I’m thinking jagged rocks that sink ships), monstrous waters(well monsters), sinkholes(a big ol’ sinkhole that sucks up ships), tempestuous sea(storms and such), maybe a sea based race merpeople.

I love this, but the merpeople would probably be very unbalanced. Either they get fucked in land and dominate water, or are reskined humans

@@ryokiritani4187 maybe bonuses around/near water and negatives further from water, but you are probably correct. They could be a neutral too around all ocean biomes that mess with boats and such, all I know is that they have potential.

It'd be kind of neat if they gave every other race a biome advantage like what the dwarves got with gem biome. Humans get an advantage in food production in Tundra, Orcs get an advantage in food or materials production in pure sand desert (so at least something can actually inhabit the deserts), Elves get an advantage in, hell, I dunno, not being KOS in Candy or Corrupted biome somehow or don't get reanimated in corrupted biomes. Stuff like that.

This update really makes me wish the orcs would get a hard nerf, I went into a world to test some stuff out, spawned some humans and let them do their thing, and along the way spawned in a single orc after I had like forty humans built up. That single orc started a colony that completely dominated the humans, even with a massive handicap, that's a little OP if you ask me

Or the humans need to get buffed lol, even if the dev keeps them weak, they could have a permanent smartness boost or something

i think something you can make a video on other than the new biomes in this new update is another video where you get a huge fantasy map and watch them fight because now that the AI, the ores, and the natural resources in each biome were improved i think it would be really fun to see how they do with all the new mechanics introduced to the game

Definitely would be cool to do this with adding traits. Maybe do the same thing but every island gets a random trait? That could lead to Crazy strong combinations though.

Grabbed the map and played it at super sonic speed while watching Blessed Elves won mine. An Interesting thing I saw was the corrupted islands were close enough that the ghost mobs could cross the water to attack neighbors.

I just found out you can have a pine forest biome. Just freeze the land, then add a bunch of pine trees then heat it up. Then put grass and you get just a pine forest without the snow. I like to add a mixture of pine and regular trees to have a both types.

In the debug tools there is an option for really fast cultures so you can use that for a couple of in game weeks so they advance a bit and maybe get boats

With how aggressive they are these might work better with larger islands for every nation. That might give them enough population to defend their island even if they've sent a small army out.

I managed to force a civilisation on the sand biomes. You do it by putting down some soil, let them settle there, then change the soil to sand. I once got a big orc kingdom in a huge desert. It might not work on this update, but you can get normal sand civilisations.

Idea: How about basically this map, but every islamd starts woth 40 people already, all of them have the immortal trait, but they can't reproduce This way even if say "blessed orcs" get a really good start they will gradually lose people throught the war. The only way to increase population would be to annex an weaker island of your own race

how did you get wasteland? did you just drop a bunch of nukes far away? also i think they should buff the tumor like things. like the tumor should be a major threat, whats the point when it spreads SUPER slow unless you put down a million. plus the tumor infection is slow, whats the point in infecting a huge army when said army heads straight for the base and they only turn one by one making it useless?
