Phish sucks. Theses guys are musically much better. For both bands, what they lack is making the guitar "sing" as opposed to just hitting the notes with hammer-ons and pull-offs. Jerry Garcia made his guitar sing much by bending the strings (very often) and sliding. Try the Grateful Dead. The GD are in a whole other (better) category. Having said that..... Goose is fantastic!

They came back from their month off from late August '22 to the late September Richmond shows hotter than ever. Of course I think they have been really tight and energetic since 2019 so it's really small degrees of difference.

I love Goose but Billy Strings is right along with Goose’s flight plan imo. Aside from personal taste Phish and Panic will hold the best of titles till they are too old to play🤘. Goose and Billy need more experience and growth to take that top tier.
