Reminds me of shooting with my now departed dad as a lad,great encouragement to your lad there,I've now given up my licence after 30yrs,as I don't like the thought anymore of game going away with shot in them,if there's any doubt about height or distance we shouldn't shoot,err on the side of caution, should be the mantra

Hi Mick, thanks for watching and your kind words. My dad doesn't shoot but still fishes and there's nothing better than the three of us being out for a day's fishing and catching a few salmon. Twice now we've been lucky enough to all catch a salmon off the same beat on the same day its unforgettable. I do try and educate him about shoot ro kill and he gets it but like all shooters on one day a bird is killable and on another you dont bring it down I suppose the best we can do is steer them in the right direction and educate as best we can. 👍

Hi Ben thanks for watching, they certainly do. It's a fine line with them being low enough to kill and too high not to. I try to educate Roan as we go so he knows what is killable and not. Although he seems to be able to shoot higher birds than me 🤣

Hi James I respect your opinion but it's part of our way of life and everything we shoot is eaten by ourselves, friends and family. We started the channel to show our life in Scotland and shooting makes up a big part of it.
