I've been waiting for someone to react to this performance and it looks like you enjoyed it as much as I did. Amazing he can still belt them out at 62 years of age. He did quite a few of his favourites at Royal Albert Hall and sounded just as good as ever.

Always loved that song. This is exactly how Bryan’s concerts are, it is like karaoke night as everyone songs along to every song and he is always so engaged with the audience. You have not even hit on his chart top songs like Summer of ‘69, Heaven, Everything I Do, Run to You, Cuts Like a Knife, Straight from the Heart, All for Love, Somebody…..just a library of classic rock and ballads from this future Hall of Famer. Thanks for sharing.

As a young Canadian growing up during that time, it's embarrassing how young people ragged on Bryan Adams. I went along with it just not to "stand out". As a music student, I knew "the SOB can sing!!!" Great, great, great voice.

This song has Def Leppard influence in it. I think they back him up vocally on the studio recording.

Still sounds good doing this song live 30 years later. There is less grit/rasp in his voice, though.

Produced by and written by Bryan Adams and Mutt Lange. Great 👍. BA sings only the 1st verse then enters the bridge 🌉 and continues to the end of the song 🎵. The rock voice of BA is partly influenced by Bob Rock. Before they were famous, they wrote and performed on jingles in Vancouver, Canada 🇨🇦. BA sometimes was with David Foster, who is a native of nearby Victoria. Other times, BA hung out with Loverboy, Prism and the late Bruce Fairbairn, a Vancouver native who earned a BS in engineering. The training always had Fairbairn meet a deadline 🤯 and never break a budget! 🤯 RIP, 25 years. Compare the Bryan Adams BC (Before Chien -- before Mutt, where chien is French for dog 🐕 or mutt) to Bryan Adams AD (Anno Dogo -- from the 1991 Mutt Lange album onward). The voice in Reckless has 1 peak of the mountain ⛰. But Neighbours in 1991 has the voice of BA at a higher range and more endurance! 🤯 I also am a singer. I noticed those changes from then to now. Notes on 3 musicians there. Gary Breit on keyboards 🎹. He played on the 2nd album of Corey Hart . The key song is Never Surrender. Keith Scott on lead guitar 🎸. He is on every BA album since the 3rd album including the Mutt Lange albums. Scott also played with Glass Tiger 🐅, Bryan. Ferry and Lara Fabian. Patrick Steward was discovered by BA in a Vancouver bar 🍸. Late Frankie KaRocka quit. Mickey Curry was only booked for the studio because he was under contracts for other singers for studio 🎙 sessions. Thus, Steward played mostly for the tours. Why does this performance 🎭 sound like Def Leppard? Mutt Lange! 🐕 He is also the co-writer for other musicians including The Corrs, Huey Lewis, Heart abd Michael Bolton. I talked to a musician (who prefers to be anonymous) who worked with Mutt Lange. He is as Bryan Adams said: a professional. Suggested other songs 🎵 1 Bryan Adams sings Heaven 2 The Corrs perform Irresistible. 3 Def Leppard performs Animal. 4 Corey Hart sings Never Surrender 5 Arnel Pineda and Morissette Amon sing I Finally Found Someone.
