My father and i were there that night. He's currently recovering from a major operation due to cancer. This remains one of the great experiences of this then 16yr old lads life and i shared it with my father. Keep your sweet carolines....football came home that summer regardless of the result that night.

Yes,I may be an Irish republican,who can legitimately argue that Ireland was split illegally and against our democratic vote,but I never went in for that stuff when it came to football.
