I'm pretty sure The Haunted Mask Lives! was made into Scream of the Haunted Mask so all of the Goosebumps Gold books were eventually written and published with the exception of Happy Holidays from Dead House which I think/hope will eventually be made. Still I would have loved to have seen this series actually be released and I loved the illustrations Jacobus did for them. Also makes you wonder what other books Stine would have written for the series had it not been cancelled.

Rayman From what I read, the Slappy New Year from Horrorland supposedly was a completely different story than the one the Gold series would've had. Which, given the amount of time between them, makes sense. Stories can change drastically after a few weeks, after years they probably barely resemble what they once were. Plus the covers are different. So effectively these books, in their unaltered forms, have never been released. And probably never truly will, only in name. Because, much like a beta version of a video game that will never see the light of day, these are outdated concepts that the creators have long since moved past.

I would have loved to see Happy Holidays From Dead House be made. It's a squeal to Welcome To Dead House. We haven't had that yet. Also it's Christmas themed. The only other two Christmas themed books in Goosebumps is the Tales To Give You Goosebumps book and The 12 Screams Of Christmas. That would have been cool.

Actually we never did get the Slappy New Year book. R.L. Stine said that despite the similar name the Horrland Slappy New Year is not the same as the Goosebumps Gold version. That means it's still lost with the others.

Really makes you wonder if, based on the fact that 12 Books were planned, would they all be some type of follow-up to a previous Goosebumps book or would there also be some type of original stories in there as well? Sadly, I doubt that we’ll ever get to know but it’s exciting to think about the possibilities.

there was a nightmare hour book by R.L Stine a spin off of the nightmare room- rare book but it had i think one of the stories that used elements from Jeckell and Hidi (a Goosebumps 2000 book)
