Hey Michael! Trust me, Piano Lessons Can Be Murder isn’t as bad as you think. It actually has a pretty cool plot. The episode is honestly not as good as the book. There are some dark scenes in the book too. Read it man you’ll enjoy it! God bless.

Piano lessons was amazing cuz it was just before the series got cheesy and Stine was still trying to figure out how to lower the intensity from dead house.. the moment I the saw Piano Lessons cover I'm pretty sure I had a nighmare about it

Piano Lessons is actually one of the darkest in the series and has become pretty popular for that reason. I'd like the next tin to have the rest of the "unloved"/unreprinted, those being Werewolf Skin, I live in your basement and Monster Blood 4. And perhaps a few other later/lesser known ones to round it out.

That would be nice, but nota really good market idea, Monster Blood 4 was a pretty bad book, Werewolf skin got an ebook, The phantom got a reprint, and the legend of the lost legend also got a reprint. So for them to make a set of those books wouldn’t really be the smartest idea, they should go for more classics, Attack of the Jack o lanterns, Calling all Creeps, Attack of the Mutant, Werewold skin actually isn’t such a bad idea, and welcome to Camp nightmare They can scatter those “unloved books” in different sets, but to put them all in one isn’t the best idea

I Love the Goosebumps Since 4th Grade. Still Remember the Book Fairs!. Used to get Folders & Bookmarks. I'm 34 & Plan on Starting Up Collection. I have about 10 Books that I Rescued from Trash. Old Neighbor tossed them when he Was Moving. Much Love to All Goosebumps Fans!. ☮️

Piano Lessons is actually not that bad. If anything I think it's one of the darker books when you really think about the villain and the motivations. It's the rare occasion where I can actually consider a Goosebumps villain feeling like someone who could actually exist in the real world. An almost Ed Gein-like being. It's definitely better than the episode's take. For the next tin, I'd guess they'll go for a blue slime border, and the five books will be The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb, The Scarecrow Walks at Midnight, Phantom of the Auditorium, Night of the Living Dummy II and The Curse of Camp Cold Lake.

Piano Lessons was a great addition because it was from the early period when the books were still dark and atmospheric before Stine decided to start toning things down and going for silly and more kid friendly tones in the books rather than genuinely creepy

I honestly want to get the new tin box set just because of "The Haunted School". I love that cover so much! For the 4th tin, I'd love to see :"The Blob the Ate Everyone", "The Headless Ghost", "The Curse of Camp Cold Lake", "Attack of the Jack-o- Lanterns", and lastly "I Live in Your Basement". some of the best covers in the original series in my opinion!

Piano Lessons Can Be Murder follows Jerry who finds a dusty old piano in the attic of his new house. Jerry is an only child and his parents need some time to themselves. Jerry thinks taking piano seems like a cool idea. But his piano teacher Dr Shreek seems weird as hell. Then he realizes the piano is haunted by a ghost who lost her hands. Then Jerry invites his new best friend over, Kim and she tells him the stories. The stories of people who went in for a lesson, and never came out. Then at his next lesson, Dr Shreek chases him through the halls then Jerry stumbles into a room filled with cut off hands, with an teacher at every piano. But then it turns out the ghost is nice so she saves Jerry from getting his hands cut off. And then the book ends with this line: I made some good friends and was starting to get used to my new school. I was thinking seriously of trying out for the baseball team. I'm not a great hitter but I'm good in the field. Everyone says I have great hands. Thats the story. Overall, it's under rated

So I collect and sell the original 62 books. I was wondering where all these super white pages reprinted in china. I thought they were bootlegs at first, but no. It’s just a Target exclusive. If you look at the spine there’s no # and the “Goosebumps” on the cover is not raised nor does it have bumps. They’re cool, but the originals are much better.
