Thanks for the video, it looks simple enough. Can you please tell me the distance from the back of the front seat to the back? I'm wondering if it's long enough to sleep in the car in a pinch. Thank you

Doubt it. Look at 15:05, he’s laying down at an angle, looks very uncomfortable. In another vid I think he stated he was 5’9” or so tall.

Another option would be to add a storage box that is the same height has the seats folded down.

Nice fitting modification. Practical and attractive. Only wrinkle was the missing hardware and mending plate. At least they sent you a sticker! LOL

This looks like a very nice, well made and solid set up. I want to remove the same seat that you did to place in a rigid dog crate. Can you tell me, what is the widest solid object that will fit from the edge of the remaining seats right plastic bracket cover towards the far right inner wall panel? Great video and thank you.
@procrastinator4111 ай бұрын
Thanks for vid. I had no clue these were available. It would be nice (safer) if there was a bumper or rail of some sort to protect back of front seat from cargo impact in unforeseen circumstances.

What are the dimensions between the 1 rear seat and the delete? I am trying to figure out if I can fit a dog kennel with just 1 rear seat delete, instead of both. These are the dog kennel dimensions. 34" (L) x 23" (W) x 28.5" (H)

Can you push the seat forward & have a removable plate or bag to fill the gap? What length would that be?

Bummed to see the bottom of the plates are unfinished... concerned about longevity and water/moisture?
@drivenmad20892 жыл бұрын
I’m not too worried about that. How often are you going to have enough water underneath it to actually cause damage. Unless I left the top off in the middle of a storm. So far I haven’t had any issues after a couple months with it and using it off-road.

I have been watching your videos, really good content! I know you got rid of your Bronco - but do you remember if the Goose Gear platform was "slippery" or did it have good grip? I want to put one in for my dogs but worried they will slide around.
@drivenmad2089 Жыл бұрын
I mean I though it had pretty good grip for not having things slide around unless it was hard plastic. The textures alot like a bed liner. Thanks for watching!

Any issues spraying out the interior with this setup? If that whole thing was covered in sand, does it just shoot out the back with a hose or what?
@scottsupers2 жыл бұрын
Not too much info out there about this setup. Looks great. Does it become completely flat? Video kinda makes it look like the seat part is angled ?? Also, is the passenger seat able to slide all the way back and slightly recline along with it being all the way back?
@drivenmad20892 жыл бұрын
Yep it’s now a flat load space. And the passenger seat can move back all the way and still recline. Thanks for watching!

When you folded up the cover to access the bolt holding in the seat belt, I thought that you were going to remove the seat belt to put in the latch, so 2 questions: Why fold up that cover, and won't the seat belt reminder go off if there's no seat belt inserted into the latch?
@drivenmad20892 жыл бұрын
That’s where you disconnect it. So it won’t go off if there’s no seat belt connected.
@etmccaus Жыл бұрын
It's a rear seat belt - I don't think I've ever driven a vehicle that chirps at you if a rear seat belt is unlatched upon start-up.

one question… wrangler vs bronco, whose audio/sound system is better? does your wrangler have Alpine sound? Is it worth the money? Thanks handsome
@CarStory2 жыл бұрын
I had a Rubicon with the Alpine system. It’s better than any audio system that Bronco has.
@drivenmad20892 жыл бұрын
My 2DR Wrangler has the alpine sound system and the broncos has a bit better mid range but the bass is better in the wrangler.

Seems a bit half-baked. First, they should have made the cubby door cross the entire cubby. Second, they should have added a latch to the jack compartment as well, instead of screws. And then the missing parts out of the gate. Good idea, needs better execution.

The more of your Bronco videos I watch, the more I'm inclined to keep my JL! One of the first things I did after purchasing my JL was removed the rear seat, as I'm not interested in chauffeuring anyone around and I like having the entire rear cargo area open. Literally a 5-minute job with a Wrangler. Looks like to do the same with the Bronco is comparatively a PITA, and also requires a crappy kit from a company that doesn't even QA their products well enough that they ensure no parts are missing! (Well done, GooseGear.) Thanks for the continued Bronco videos, but I'll stick with my Wrangler. At least for another few years, until Ford works out the kinks. ;)
@fcal6758 Жыл бұрын
I've been through 4 2 door Wranglers including one Rubicon. Other than the rear seat, my 2 door Badlands blows away any of the Jeeps I've owned. Yeah Ford could make a few improvements, but for a first gen (6th gen) of a "new" model, they did a damn good job. And yes, I do off-road.

Worst thing about a bronco!
@Fatbastid2 жыл бұрын
How much weight did that add to the bronco?
@drivenmad20892 жыл бұрын
Actually, it probably took weight out. The rear plate weighs about the same as the old rubber/carpet one did and the seat back and seat bottom along with the attachments weight more than the other plate. It’s within 5lbs I’d say. Thanks for watching!
