Goosehunting (ganzenjacht) in Holland with a Browning A5 and fieldtrial lab "Lucky number sleventy"

450 Geese where damaging the grassfields. The day before the hunt I have walked all the geese of the field. In the hope they would return the next morning. There is not a lot of cover in this field. So we have put on our waders and we where standing in a ditch. The day before I have cut some reet for extra cover in the ditch. In the beginning the geese
Iam using a browning a5 with gamebore black gold nr 4 32 grs. We used 50 silosocks as decoys, a electric caller and DK wai goose calls. I was wearing a prologic wader in realtree max5. The black field trial labrador Joe did some great retrieves. We had a great morning! Enjoy the hunt!

I enjoy you videos. I rather watch this kind of good shooting and dog work than boring american hunts with 5-10 men shooting as fast as they can with 5-8 round semis into the flock. This is how hunters should shoot and act. 10/10

Hoi Karel. Leuk dat je ervan genoten hebt. De veiligheid is nooit in het geding. Het beeld vertekend altijd wat omdat de camera van boven naar beneden gericht staat met nog wat fisheye in de lens. Dus al zou de hond gaan zitten of staan is de loop er altijd boven. Qua klappen probeer er ook al, indien mogelijk, rekening mee te houden.

Great vídeo. Are you shotting steel loads? The A5 seems to get very long Kills. I am considering to purchase one, but I read some reviews where ir is said that ir is hard on the shoulder. Is that your impression?

Thank you! Yes, in Holland its only allowed to shoot with steel loads. I shoot with Gamebore blackgold nr 4 32 grams. Its a great cartridge. I like the A5 a lot. I shoot a lot of geese and pigeons with it and iam very pleased with it. Hard on the shoulder? If I compare it with my browning B725 O/U it is nothing. But I have no comparison with other semi autos, so i cant give you any opinion on that. But just get one, you wont regret it!

Thank you for your answer. You have lots of game there. In my country we do not have geese. The cartriges and/or the A5 seem to be great, as you kill some birds quite far away. Keep with your videos. They are a breath of fresh air when we get home after a hunting day with a "slim bag". Regards Silva

What is the barrel length on your A5 shotguns, and are you shooting 3 or 3.5 shells?

I have a 76 cm barrel (30 inch) and iam shooting 3 shells. Its possible to shoot 3,5 (magnum) but I they are expensive and not necessary as you can see ;).
