Exactly my point. He knew most of what was in that 1500 pages omnibus bill has things he knew trump would not endorse if he was in the know like blocking subpoena for documents and even investigation of the J6 committee and a host of pork funding and other HHS legislations but hide it and did not tell the president as that will be against the plans of the administration but decided to not disclose anything until it was detected by outsiders and that alone speaks loud of the suspicion anyone would have over Johnson as to whose interest he is serving other than the American people and the president coming. This bill alone exposes Johnson in many ways and it brings to question a lot as to whether he is in line. Schumer and pelosi, as crooked as they are, they were all for the woke left agenda and could care less the lamentations of the minority. As an administration you need a speaker that is loyal to your agenda just as everyone in your cabinet just as you need loyal congressmen. The goal is to fail together or succeed together but we must be on the same page. This is why naturally when a president takes office he is given the privilege to choose his cabinet. He needs to pick his team and work with people whom he knows can best deliver to the people through him. Mike is kind of weak and not a man that can stand his ground regardless of how the libs shout. Trump needs that man! -another time I had problems with mike was when he became speaker he initially refused a spending to Ukraine the first week or so on a bill tabled before him and Schumer and others pressured him and he gave up and changed his speech and sent billions to Ukraine. That was another time I knew he didn’t have a backbone

He has been under Trump's leadership since the election. The problem is he spent 85 days working on the CR bill with McConnell and the Democrat senate / house leadership and did not include the rest of the house. As one representative put it 'we are not a rubber stamp'. Johnson failed the house big time by not letting them participate in putting together the bill and then again failed them by demanding they pass it without giving them anytime for reading it, debating it and putting forward changes. Johnson has created a horrible situation where the house republicans are damned if they try to replace him and damned if they don't. How can we trust someone in the powerful position of speaker given what he did and knowing it is quite likely he agreed to try and blindside them with the original CR bill knowing his position as speaker is safe because they can't risk replacing him 3rd January? Johnson has single-handedly endangered the MAGA agenda with this stunt. How can he remain speaker when it requires trusting that he won't try and pull the same stunts again... and if he does what then? Put the MAGA agenda on hold to replace him (right back where we are now except a few weeks / months time with perhaps more damage done?).

Yes speaker is not an easy position. That said, Johnson worked with McConnel and Democrat leadership for 85 days to put the CR together without consulting any house representatives and then produced it as a 'bipartisan' bill giving his colleagues no time to read, debate or amend it. That is a complete fail of leadership and his responsibilities. I can get that to some extent it is necessary to work with the Democrats and he has been in a difficult position but doing the dirty on your colleagues the way he did was unacceptable and a complete betrayal. He clearly hadn't discussed with Trump either despite the time they have spent together. Trump likes competent people, he is not a micromanager and so trusted Johnson to do his job and Johnson failed Trump and the MAGA agenda big time.
