I plan to retire at 62 in another country outside the US that is free, safe and very cheap with a high quality of life. Let the gov shut down. The states fund key federal programs during a shut down. The public will not even notice it. A 1500 page doc to be reviewed in 72 hrs is ridiculous. Disaster Relief takes an avg of 12 months to reach the public. That needs to be a separate bill for each disaster.
