Did you know that in Georgia's new law, you have to surrender your ID (mail it) to the state to receive an absentee ballot now? Meaning, you could go for weeks without your ID, which means you can't drive, etc. If you just wrote down your ID number, that should be enough for verification!

To : William Davis ---- it used to be that way over the whole USA just about 30 years ago. If your name wasn't in the book at your precinct or your signature didn't match or you didn't have a very good excuse not to be able to vote on Election Day ( no early voting month ) you almost definitely couldn't vote. If there were " machines " involved they were very simple lever-curtain ones with the vote totals on the back plain to see and several poll workers plus party poll watchers would gather around the backs of each one at the end of the night and everyone had to agree on the totals. The results were sealed and 3 poll workers plus 1 party observer each drove to the county election office and watched the results be signed in and counted. All this took about 3 hours in Florida in the 3rd largest county in the entire country. But some politicians thought this was all so old - fashioned and machines were the way to do it ...... So, here we are today and every state and every county can be like Cook County/ Chicago, Illinois : corrupt. r
