That lotion idea is awesome. I've been really wanting to get into henna, but I didn't want to just waste a bunch and not even be able to do nice designs. I'll definitely have to try that!

for those who don't have a laminate printer, you can use a glass sheet from a picture frame, it works just as great! When you're done with your design, just scrape it off when its dried :)

You can also put whatever color paper in one of those notebook page protectors. Yes it is a flat surface, but it helps with getting steady and practicing flow. You can even put a design in it and "trace" when you are first starting out! Good luck!!
@axuwu6939 Жыл бұрын
I wonder if you could curve it, then tape it down on another page into a half-circle shape? It’s no hand, but it can help practicing on 3D shapes!

yes! was coming here to say this. but also some stores like ups stores or office stores/places that develop photos could allow you to laminate items as well!

You can also use the paper slip pockets that you would put something like school work in. It’s like two dollars for a good amount.

NOTE: you can get things laminated for a few dollars at Office Depot or other office supply shops. Library’s sometimes have access to laminators. And if there’s a graphic design shop somewhere in town, they may let you laminate something too!
@kkgray62 жыл бұрын
you can also just put it in a sleeve for binders. the plastic clear ones if you know what i’m talking about. that’s just another idea in case you don’t have a laminator

While you practice on the paper, you could use a pastry scraper or a credit card to scrap the henna or lotion back into another squeezie cone. Just to save on materials I mean. Alternatively tape the paper to something like the side of a soup can to give it a curve to practice around.
