Sorry Philippines.... I treasure memories of my visits there, where I happy spent the equivalent of thousands of US dollars. Due to your inflexible "vaccination restrictions', which are very likely HERE TO STAY FOREVER, many tourists like myself will go to Vietnam, the perfect alternative. Vietnam has NO such restrictions! :D The bad news is that your crumbling tourist industry will likely not improve much at all as a consequence of policy choice. The good news is that Vietnam's tourism industry is THRIVING!!! Apply for work there, as the already expanding tourism industry will spike profits with all of the overflow of former Philippines tourists. Transporation is much more convenient in Vietnam and a number of places are a little bit cheaper. Ho Chi Minh City is your blissful gateway to the best experience in your life. I hope to see you there.
