According to the first innings highlights that first delivery from Lee was clocked at just 72.9 mph! Makes you realise just how good these guys are. Just over 70 mph and you barely see it. God knows what facing 90 mph is like...
@AsboJunior9 жыл бұрын
+rlp 88 Tbh 70mph is actually quite common in higher divisions of club/village cricket, but with the younger players obviously.
@1988rlp9 жыл бұрын
+AsboJunior I've faced some fairly quick club bowlers (just touching 70mph) but that first ball was miles quicker than anything I've faced. I can't believe it only registered at 72.9. Maybe the speed gun made a mistake, because Umar Gul's bowling was clocked around 70 as well and he doesn't seem anywhere near as quick as Lee.
@meetshah968 жыл бұрын
+rlp 88 I dont think the first ball was 72 mph it has to be much more. I have faced 78 mph in club cricket yet that was playable. this was hard to judge or maybe its just that the camera view is tough to see! either ways the bounce and stuff is amazing! played on an international stadium before but lords, its the dream haha.

Nice. Highlight is when Gilchrist follows Lee's delivery stride at 2:45 where he takes a wicket.
