Sophie theunicorn: I absolutely do not breed my guinea pigs, I'v adopted spayed females. DO not get a male for your female unless he is neutered. There are enough guinea pigs in the world and you are risking the life of your female if you breed and if you are new to pigs, this is not something you want to get into.

skinnypigs1 my two guinea pigs and I need your help! I don't have much control on what they eat because I am under 18. My pigs have unlimited food pellets which I know is BAD for them and this has been going on for over a year! 3 of my piggies had babies. Pink had 2 healthy litters and 1 miss carriage. Squishy just had 1 healthy litter and they are 11 days old today. And Mickey has a healthy litter. But I didn't keep all the piggies. Right now I only have Sunrise, Pink, Squishy & the 11 day old piggies but Sunrise & the babies are going to a home in about 3 weeks. But I don't breed I'm just bad at sexting. But breeding isn't really bad in my opinion. Just be responsible and don't inbreed.

I have used that as well, just sometimes is easier to just go to the bathroom next to the room and use some hot water on a cloth with a tiny bit of soap to really scrub any urine that hit the coroplast.

For me, it's pretty effective at cleaning up any stains or dried urine, so I just spray and leave it to disinfect for a couple minutes then wipe it up. It cleans nicely and it's pet safe, so for me it's worth putting some work into it :)

Hey ! I recently rescued a Pregnant Sow and she's due any day. She's currently in a make shift C & C cage and she is doing very well. Ive found that she is about a year old and have 4 babies coming. The father is bonded with my other two males and they live in my two story cage. Im wondering if you think I should expand my Pregnant Sows C & C cage a bit bigger with 4 babies coming. I'll be taking photos of each baby and noting their gender when they arrive so I can remove the boys from the girls at around 2-4 weeks when they are healthy enough to be placed in my tempo cage before trying the bonding them with my other males. My female cage is about 4x2 at the moment and I can expand . just any help is welcomed. The person who gave me the two kept them in this teeny store bought cage and didn't care about them breeding and only feed them every other day. The male gave the female most of the food so He was skinny but plumped back up being around my other males and eating well. the female is eating good too. I will be getting the female spayed once her babies are weened and she is on a healthy track again.
