GoPro HD Hero 960 at Mountain High

@What2WriteHere the only differences between the two is the amount of different modes of filming. the hd hero will have the 1080p and the 720p at 60fps and the expansion slot for later features on the side. As far as quality goes, the 960 and the Hero will shoot the 720p at 30fps and the 960p at fps at the same quality.

@steveo928 its great! if you are REALLY particular of having true HD (1080p) and 720p at 60fps then go with the GoPro HD Hero not the 960 version. other than that they are both similar in size and video recording. if you decide to use it on your board, beware that it has a great chance of coming off fairly easily under low temps or sudden impact. mine ripped off after 3 runs

@1997markus1997 the GoPro HD 960 is 179.00 and shoots the same quality video as the GoPro HD Hero in 60 wvms 720p and 960p at 30 fps. What's missing in the 960 is the 1080p and the 720p at 60fps. However, if these two options are not really important for you, save the cash and the 960 is just fine :)

I just posted a clean run from top to bottom using my GO PRO HD! (clean run because I didnt do a lot). There is a great helmet mount that is sold separately at REI that allows you to get an angle that includes the front of your board!!! Way better than the mounts that came standard.
