That was a very useful video, and I especially liked the idea of mounting multiple cameras together. I wish, however, you'd speak slower (or provide captioning, the way Itchy Boots does for her more recent videos, for example). I have imperfect hearing, and so have trouble keeping up with your comments. I would also recommend that whoever is doing the motorcycle riding wear gloves. I have been using Telemetry Overlay (with a Hero7 and Hero9) for about half a year now, and I'm very pleased with the software, have recommended it to others, etc.

Thanks for your suggestions. I guess my accent does not help, and I try to compress lots of information in short videos. I just checked the automated subtitles KZbin generated and they seem to be mostly correct, in case that helps for now. And yes, I intended to wear gloves, but with the stress of handling all three cameras and the watch... I forgot to put them on. Glad the software is proving useful! And thanks for spreading the word! :)

@@TelemetryOverlay I do agree with wspollack. If you can talk slightly slower it will help a lot. The subtitle helps but to read them at the same speed as your speech, at the same time watching the video is a bit stressful. Good video with the concise comparison of the different devices. Tks.

You can go to the setting (gear wheel) and slow down the video playback speed to 0.75 or even 0.5)

I think would be great when would possible to replace the GPS. Take Gps Data from Apple Watch and merge to GoPro Movie.

You can do that now. With this app ( apps.apple.com/gb/app/gpx-workout/id1167744486 ) you can save your Apple Watch activity as a GPX file and then import it in Telemetry Overlay to replace the GoPro GPS data

I have bought Telemetry Overlay and am very happy with it. I currently use a Insta360 RS and gpx from a garmin XT as data. If I get a GoPro10, do I have to buy the telemetry extractor or will Overlay fix this for me?

Overlay will read and display your GoPro files and their data. Extractor converts the data in GoPro videos to other formats like GPX and CSV, but for creating videos, use Overlay

You mentioned using a cell phone and Telemetry Overlay says it will accept a cell phone data. Any recommendations on which app to use for android? I am looking for a way to get roll and pitch while riding.

Here's a good option for recording the GPS data, but I don't know of a good app to record pitch and roll on Android. I haven't. I'm not sure that would be practical on most situations where action cams are used. Do you have any experience with GPS repeaters?

That's with Telemetry Overlay. You just need accurate GPS data. Some cameras and trackers also record the lean angle by other means even if there's no GPS signal (HERO9 and 10 should be good if they are mounted flat). See this other tutorial kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z5zPd5qZa6aZrJo

If I want to track GPS all day in my motorcycle trip and use that data for making awesome video in this program, which one is recommended to do this? (I want accuracy gps and add it into insta360 video for some period.) Thank you.

You mean which tracker? In my experience Garmin ones work great, see the data from the Venu watch, for example. There are also specific trackers for motorcycling, but make sure they record to some format compatible with Telemetry Overlay

Turning upside down gopro = no signal? lol...I ride all the time with gopro upside down and never had problem with no signal. I don't get the 4:30 part.

It's a pretty common problem. You can still get a signal if the other conditions are right, but you are increasing your chances of getting a bad one

@@TelemetryOverlay well, I guess I was lucky all the time ;) I've been riding on a snowboard with gopro upside down for 3+ years now and never had problem with GPS signal. Lucky me :)

That makes sense. The snow is a very good reflector, so it's almost as if the antenna was pointing at the sky. Plus there aren't any buildings around you blocking the satellites
