From how you are describing everything the sena is not connecting with the quick capture function hence you can hear it at a stop and not when you go. The Quick app used to work as described then they took it away, now it’s back.

Pete…. Updated discovery using my new Ulanzi AM18 wireless \bluetooth mic system……. Ok, this is what I discovered with the Ulanzi. I really need to show this as a video but didn’t record it because …. Uhm…. I was in my pajamas 😂 1. I could not get the microphones or wireless receiver to directly connect using Bluetooth but didn’t really expect to 2. Using a GoPro Media Mod with the HERO 12, I could plug the digital wireless Bluetooth receiver into the Media Mod directly and connect one or two of the Bluetooth mics wirelessly to the receiver. I used one as a test. No need for two mics. I hit video record on the a GoPro and walked about 100’ away and my audio came in crystal clear. In fact it was booming so I need to turn the volume way down. I had the mic taped into the front of my Neotec II but it can be Velcro in. Each mic has a lapel clip which can also be used but I would trust Velcro more. The clip on the receiver fits perfectly in either cold shoe on the media mod. Thats how I placed it. 3. The Ulanzi device comes with a myriad of different cables for different kinds of applications which is rock star in my opinion. 4. As a further test, I connected my iPhone to my SENA 30K and played streaming music from Pandora while I was talking into the Ulanzi mic. I did not pick up any music in my helmet with the Ulanzi mic. This takes riding and recording audio\video to a new level. I will test on the bike tomorrow. I will upload a video to my channel of that test. 5. I am 100% blown away with the new 12 and its expanded capabilities. Hope that helps clarify

My r6 is extremely loud as well ..are u using the little mic or the boom mic with ur sena.. I have mine just next to the cheek pad and it’s the small mic.. for gain I just raise it on my editor since normal levels are low but it prevents Audio peaking… best of luck it’s trial and error to get the best results it seems

Also when I record I don’t have anything else connected besides my phone over wifi to the go pro… so I will continue to test what it would sound like if I have audio running while recording

@@MRSMI13Y90 ... I posted a video the other day with my final test using a Bluetooth wireless mic. I think that's the best solution for me
