As far as I'm concerned, I would say yes. No problem watching the live stream using THIS video-out cable while recording video. However it is not possible to watch the video feed while recording if you use the GoPro App on your smartphone via WiFi, but over the video-out cable it's working.

Delay mainly comes from Philips LCD and Onkyo Receiver converting analog video signal to digital signal (HMDI). Using it für FPV without high delay.

btw it is standard procedure to record and live out on a gopro, looks like quite alot of delay there, not good for flying.

Nice 1! Is it possible to watch the live feed while the gopro is recording too? I'm looking for a FPV system to use with a LCD screen istead of gogles, and if the H3 can send the live image while it records, I might go for it as the onboard videocam on the rc phantom :) cheers!

long delay, but good enough for a slow moving multirotor I think.

The delay results mainly from the connection to the TV. First the signal gets into an AV receiver, which converts it to HDMI. Afterwords this signal is sent to the TV. If you connect the GoPro directly to a display, the delay is almost eliminated.

Is there a way to just use regular USB cable and have some app on Windows or Mac to view the live stream as if the GoPro was a Webcam?
