I just bought a hero5 session but whenever I record it sounds like there is a bit of white noise in the background from it, it’s pretty annoying. Does anyone else have this issue. Does the hero 5 black have the same issue? Also the session doesn’t autofocus, the the hero 5 Black have autofocus?

I’m honestly shocked at how amazing the session is. Yeah the black has a touch screen but who cares. Once you’ve figured out all of the controls (which takes like 10 mins) you can record anything with excellent quality and it’s cheaper then the black so if ur going for a camera I honestly recommend the session but the black is great too

Ya i think the black is good for maybe people who want to do travel blogs etc- but if youre using the camera for sports and have it chest/helmet mounted (as mentioned in the video) pretty much all of the upsides of the black are negated. for $250 the session is pretty freaking incredible.

The black 8 has hyper smooth 2 which is crazy. Which can make your fpv flights look like your a pro.

I bought the Hero Session after having the Hero 3 Silver and thought there wasn't that much of a difference between the Session and the Hero 5 UNTIL...I learned about video stabilization...which propped me to switch to the Hero 5 after my trip to Cali just last June. Nice Review..I might swap my Hero Session for the 5...maybe..not really sure..yet..lol
