Thanks J V. Always challenging to cut through the hype when trying to make purchasing decisions, so I'm glad if my examples of footage help you. At this price point, the main competitor for me would be the Osmo Pocket 2 (I've got the first OP, and I really like it - image quality is very nice, but it's not so rugged). Always been intrigued by the Insta360 One R but its pricier, and I think I'd pick the Sony ZV1 for a 1in sensor in the higher price bracket. All fit in your pocket so super convenient. The GoPro has the advantage of being super durable, really impressive image stabilization, and some nice high frame rate options. Tough call!

@@terra_tops Both to be honest. I'm a budding film maker, and having just started i'm just using iMovie, which seems like a reasonable entry level piece of software. I'm absolutely willing to look at alternative software - everybody in the space seems to talk about APP - just wondered what your thoughts were.

Almost all shots were captured at 5K 30fps in standard 16:9 ratio. Then I've exported the edit from Premiere Pro at 5120 x 2160 pixels with a target bitrate of 70mbps. Hope that helps.

@@terra_tops when u import media from ur sd card to PREMIERE PRO into ur timeline does it change the frames? Like if u had ur timeline at 5k 30fps and u import ur clip recorded at 30fps does it change it to 29.? Or no
