GoPro HERO 9 BLACK Tutorial: How To Get Started

I bought a 9, and at age 72 immediately got so challenged by it, it's been sitting on my desk for a month unused! With this video, probably with the playback setting at .75, I'm going to show that camera who's boss, thanks. 30 minutes later: OK, got the battery compartment open.

Im 54, bought it almost 3 years ago, and JUST today, pulled it out and decided I better learn to use it or sell the darn thing! All the features!! I'm md at myself for NOT using this camera all this time!! Better late than never. Unfortunately, his instruction book he mentions is no longer available on Amazone. Bummer. going to have to save this video and keep referring back to it.

I don't know if you'll see this but I found it funny, When I got my my GoPro Hero 9 and came to KZbin to learn how to use it I clicked on yours first and it helped me so much. I had a bad turn of events with my health and had to get out of all my Photography. Well, I decided to get back with the GoPro and went to KZbin again and the first video I clicked on was yours. I see I posted a comment 4 years ago. You're still making videos, so I'll have the GoPro 13 someday.

This is an excellent video. Not a long intro. Not a lot of irrelevant chit chat or jokes to waste my time. Good images and video so it is clear what I am looking at. Easy to follow. Good overview. What would I use to mount on my go kart for racing?

Hi Carson, If you are mounting it to a solid surface on your go kart, you would use an adhesive mount. If you have any poles to mount to, you could use the Roll Bar or Handlbar Seatpost Mount.

Good video. Probably the best I've seen yet. I'm about to pull the trigger on a hero 9 after having had the SJCAM 8 pro. It's a good camera but many of it's functions don't work or don't work properly. So the hero 9 should be a big step up.

Just a Tip for changing Lens: Pull lenses out a little and then twist counter clockwise. If this doesn't work, try wedging a thin card GENTLY (like a library or gift card) in between. To put back on, align the two metal bars, turn slightly counter clockwise and push down a little then twist clockwise until it's back in position! Hopefully this saves you from having sore fingers!
