Hey, came across your posts on the GoPro forum. Did you find that once you had calibrated once, the often mention 'horizon tilt' issue was permanently fixed?

Mark Keiller yes for the most part but it has occurred again a few times.

Hi, does the camera have to be mounted and on for calibration to work properly?

The camera does not have to be on, but it does need to be in the the Karma harness.
