True no one can stay calm while in this situation but we all know that if we don’t, We will increase our chances of becoming breakfast. You gotta stay calm, keep an eye out and back away slowly back into shore where its safe. Only when the shark gets too close and tries to bite is the only time you have to resort to targeting its weak points such as its nose or gills to try to make it go away.

It doesn't look like it teleports at all. When the guy puts his feet in front of him the camera moves to the right thus moving the shark further to the edge of the camera. If you keep replying the little section you can see the shark stay in place and appear to change position because of the motion of the camera. The key thing here though is as the camera jerks you can see the entire transition of the sharks location relative to what you see. A teleport would be instantaneous.The camera jerks harshly and how far away it is can often be misleading due to various factors in how the water reflects light.
