I had a GoPro Fusion, which was their first 360 camera and the Max is a considerable upgrade, but today the Max is incredibly outdated. Hopefully the Max II will be a huge boost in resolution. By the time you edit footage that can tell a story and not just wow you with gimmicky Ultra wide view, you have something that’s about as clean a resolution as a video camera from 2005. Come on GoPro, get after it!

Why do people buy a 360 cam to do FLAT videos? Publish in edited 360 for immersive video where the viewer can see everything, not just what YOU think is important.

Yes I just haven't needed to because they last forever. And more resolution just means more money wasted on storage.

negative once max 2 releases, after a year if only beaten insta will release 360 x5 or x4 will always be the reining King

Gopro should stop pushing on every 2nd screen a subscribtion offer, instead make yhe product that people can not find with others, duplicate space on devices for a files and no access to raw files on quik, to be able to locally back up or save on sd, is a big disadvantage, trying to push on subscribtion and storing media online. The camera itself was not bad, however, to get it connected, sometimes is a big hastle, need to switch on everything, location, bluethooth, wifi, and still sometimes device cant connect promtly, need to play around, this issue at some quik versions was less, at some more, but never fully solved to the normal plug and play level. There is more, and if most of this can be solved that is still not version Max 2, that is just going to be Max 1 with bug fixes
