Today we are talking about GoPro photography and my tips for capturing better quality photos with GoPros and action cameras. I still shoot with the GoPro Hero 4 Silver. Having an older model is not an excuse to get some great photos like half underwater to share on social! The best camera is the one in your pocket, so get out there and capture some great GoPro photos.

Ryan... I'm a newbie with the GoPro, so excuse the novice question.... You mentioned the versatility of the GoPro.... For instance, you mentioned possibly putting the camera in a mailbox, in a shoe, golf bag, and I've seen ppl take pics from inside of potato chip bags or where ever you might put, how are you actually snapping the image?? I know that I couldn't actually push the shutter while it's inside of a shoe or mailbox.... So what tool should be used? Is it a matter of setting a self timer? Thx in advance for your help.

Hello.. i'm using the Hero7, mounted to the seat on a recumbent trike. You said "the best time to shoot is mid-day"... I'm finding that is the worst time to shoot video because all of the footage is completely washed out (like a white sheet of paper.. and nothing is usable) . What settings do you recommend when shooting on a clear day in the direct harsh sunlight..? Currently i'm at: 2.7k 30fps shutter: 1/60th. ISO min 100 max 400, white balance auto. I have tried wide, superview, linear...I have tried upping the EV to 6500kelvin. nothing works.. all i get when i download it is white page. HELP

If u set your shutter to 1/60 did u at least use an nd filter with it ?? If not its not a surprise it was washed out

Honestly I just bought the GoPro hero7 silver yesterday and it was my first GoPro ever and I needed a tutorial on how to use it, found a tutorial for it. Next day: “ Hmmm, maybe I should test my GoPro out I mean I already have the protector, my dad: you should look for a tutorial for finding the right place and handy tricks, me: alright (even though way to lazy and excited to test my GoPro out), later: hey dad I found this super helpful video check it out! ( your video) anyways thanks for making this video there are other videos about this topic but not detailed, thanks again and keep up the good work!👍🏻

Gopro (Hero HD2) (4 Black) and (7 black) were the top Gopros IMO. The price difference isnt worth it so I would stick with the most recent two models. 7 or 8*
