I'd say for 90% of the time it seems the bite mount is the way to go. It's just like what your seeing from your normal point of view. Maui rocks!!

Chesty or selfie extension pole best for skiing, but for just about everything else bite mount, unless you want to talk. Bite mount also fantastic when you to quickly take out and use a different angle, turn the camera around, etc.

Good tips on the 8:7 I prefer the chesty but I can definitely see the appeal of the bite, it has the ideal angle. I don't like the head strap because I already wear a motorcycle helmet and don't want to add more weight up there lol.

Thank you for this video, excellent as always. But one question if I may. I am a beginner at Gopro and my headstrap videos are not straight, they appear as if my head was tilted when I was walking.
