For your own sanity delete the Mikuni carb for god sake , the choke connector is garbage and needs to be metal. I love the bike it just won't idle with that POS, other than that donuts for days 😎

No i still own it, and its bored 30 over, over sized valves, stage 1 hot cams, head has been redecked, 38mm kehin carb, aftermarket exhaust and intake. And i went through the trans. There's a rebuild vid of it you should check it out

I'm wondering about the beautiful plastics. Don't look stock not even for the 2001 and after. I love your build man. I know u have to be tired of questions on this video from forever ago so I'll try to look up your build video. Where did you get those Mojave fenders? I am rebuilding my A1 right now from the ground up and though I like my pristine white ones from '87, those black ones are pretty nice and would compliment my build.

Cause I looked up Maier plastics for a Mojave ksf 250 and they didn't have any on their site for this quad and didn't see anything on google. So I was wondering maybe if the fender wasn't made for a Mojave ksf 250 quad but you made it fit and if there was a model number or something I can search up to find that exact front fender.

11.5-1 compression piston, oversized valves, shaved the head and jug, exhaust, intake, and tuned to that.

How well does it start? Mine also has a 30, over 11.5:1 piston, with some mild head porting, full DG exhaust, and a K&N filter. Won't start when its cold without bump start.
