Thank you for telling me about this. I started a new cooking channel and I have a need to put a camera on a mount above the stove. I have a ice box right next to me that is metal. This will allow me to stick it there to film. I have been looking for something like this for a while now.

Sir. Magnets don't affects sd cards, only hard drives. That is becase on an sd card the data is not stored on a magnetic surface, and instead it uses NAND flash technology.

hey thanks so much for this comment! I actually didn't know that. I had an SD card a while back die on me and it was around magnets... I guess it was just a coincidence.. but that makes so much sense what you said about the magnetic surface.

I have these, they're pretty cool. But I almost lost my GoPro 9, when the SnapMount failed and came off my jacket. The GoPro went into the river. Took me about 10 minutes, but I was able to recover my GoPro. Felt pretty relieved to get it. Went back to my truck and switched out the SnapMount with a traditional handheld. I like the SnapMount, but I get worried around water now. And of course I'm always on the water.

Oh interesting. I never thought about what it would do if it got wet. They are really tough to pry off so it must have been a good force . Glad you got it back :)

Great review! I have snap mounts. It's strong magnetic mount, and it works well. One thing I didn't like was the weight. Not sure if it's only me but when you attach it on neck/chest mount and I've felt the tightness on my neck and back of the head.

It’s a good mount for gopros and small action camera. It can’t hold an iphone 12 well on the phone mount.

It should fit on it as it. Check out the way the snap mount attaches and it would work on the device you are talking about. It’s not cumbersome at all. The only slight trouble is you have to work the GoPro onto the snap mount. It’s not difficult and it’s a very good device for magnetic sensitive metals. I put it on a vehicle and I don’t even use the protection pad as I figure it holds better that way.

actually ya they have a gopro mount to phone holder... or you can get the gopro mount to screw that normal phone holders can attach to! let me know if you have anymore questions

Yes we do have a SNAP Phone Adatper that you can connect directly to the SNAP Mount. Works great!

Haha ya that is a dilemma! Ulanzi is good too... one thing I love about the snap system is using it on windows... or up on anything metal. And it can also be adjusted to just sit up. Both have their different pros (no cons though) so ya... dilemma lol

I hear you. It’s not at that cheap enough price to just throw your money at. But how I look at it (as I said in the vid) if you were doing some sport action thing and didn’t want to have 3 gopros(that will cost), this could be the cheaper option so you can get the different angles but super quickly
