That was a cool lil video and I like how you just mixed things up rather then just show riding all the time. Our crew went through St. George in Aug. 2011 and it was hotter then hell. Also got to give you props for riding solo for so long, I did coming back from Sturgis to California. It was some of the best riding I did.

Killer song, nice vid. Just before your trip ended I was heading out on a 7500 mile solo ride through 8 states. Left home on the 28th of August, returned October 24th. Looks like we may have covered some of the same ground.

Piki Miki Let's hope! I wear one but it's EVERY rider's choice to ride as free as they want to. Head to toe in bubble wrap or Naked as hell. The "Knuckleheads" are the ones offering advice like wearing a helmet never occurred to her haha and talking down to her as if they have superior wisdom to offer. Great video as soon as I watched I knew The helmet police would be out in force. Don't know why some people think their opinions matter to anybody. Been riding my whole life lost friends on bikes with helmets and without it sucks but that's riding. Guess what lost friends and family in cars to so I guess you should wear a helmet while driving to?If you want to wear a helmet wear one if you don't don't. don't listen to the tools on here. Ricky McGill great, while you are riding, try to think once every 5 miles that she rode 4500 miles without a helmet. in other words, she was kind of aware of what she was doing and the risk that she was taking. In case it hadn't occurred to you when you made your post.

touristguy87 I'm not sure of the point your trying to make. It makes no practical sense to ride without a helmet. I had a friend that died because he was not wearing a helmet. If he would have worn helmet he would still be riding today. OK, so she is well aware that she could die easier by not wearing a helmet. So she make a conscious decision to take that risk for whatever reason. I too in my 20's and 30's thought noting would happen to me on my bike. Thank God nothing happen. But I've had a few riding buddies that are dead now. One would have died no matter what due the the extensive bodily injuries. He was just traveling way too fast! The other died due to blunt trauma to the head. He died in a parking lot! Of course he wasn't wearing a helmet. So when your trying to take up for someone not wearing a helmet, try thinking about the person living to ride another day, if God forbid, something bad was to happen.

It has noting to do with her decision to not wear one. Prudence dictates that if you see someone whom might be in danger, you might want to tell them about it. right... it also seems that calling someone an asshole for having an opinion might make the accuser seem to be more of an asshole then the accused.
